It worked for me
I'll start off by saying that everyone's situation is different and everyone's body reacts differently to substances. With that being said, this worked very well for me. The itching was gone immediately after the first application. I used it 2 or 3 times a day (as per the instructions) for a bit over a week until the bottle was empty. One thing the instructions didn't say was how long to keep using it, or how to know when to stop. I've read online that for this type of active ingredient, you should use it for 2 weeks. But after the 1+ week for me, the problem seems to have been completely cleared. I don't know if it will come back if I stop using it, so I purchased a second bottle and I'll use it at least for a few more days, I might just finish up the 2nd bottle. As everyone else says, it does burn. When you first apply it, it feels cool, but over about 30 seconds to a minute, that cool turns into a burning sensation. It can be a bit intense but after a couple more minutes it is gone. All in all, I don't think it lasted more than 5 minutes. It does have an slight odor that isn't awful, although not completely pleasant either. I think it smells a bit like the liquid spray you get to clean eyeglasses. The odor can linger a bit, especially if you get it on your clothes. It's not a strong odor, but it's there. My only real suggestion would be to tone down the product label and packaging. Maybe put what it is for in smaller print above the instructions, and give the product a different name, not "JOCK ITCH" in big letters! At first the spray bottle was a bit hard to learn how to apply. You have to hold the bottle upright. It's a pump spray, not an aerosol spray, so you only get a small spray each time you press the button, not a continuous spray output. Don't forget to shake well before use! If you have jock itch, and you're not averse to a bit of burning for a few minutes after application, then I'd give this a try. For me, the relieve was immediate.

Jekyll and Hyde (see tip at end of review)
Goes on with a cool refreshing, slightly minty smell. Very nice. Then, after a minute or so, the burning starts. Sometimes mild and sometimes extreme. Lasting several minutes, it can be VERY unpleasant. This probably indicates that it’s killing all the bad stuff between your legs. And, in my case, it does. Other than the pain, the only other downside is that seems to stay wet until it’s washed off. Of the numerous over-the-counter treatments that I’ve tried, this is the only one that has worked for me. Highly recommended. Note: Since this is a family site, no application photos or videos :) A TIP: From my dermatologist, why does one keeps getting jock itch? Well, if you have athlete’s foot fungus, you may not even know it. But, if you do, every time you pull your underwear up over your bare feet, you could be re-infecting your groin. If you don’t treat your feet (typically between your toes), or put on socks first, you’ll never win the battle between your legs.

It works!! But BURNS at first!
This stuff works! I tried literally every over the counter and prescription cream, ointment, powder, spray. Nothing worked to clear my jock itch until i used this. Beware!…. It burns extremely BAD when you spray it on your skin initially for about the first 5 minutes…but if you can’t get through that, you will be good to go. Relieved itching and rash almost immediately.

Burns bad but....
First few uses it burned extremely bad I'm talking like unbearable pain, BUT it also cleared up my lingering J.I very well. Could have been a poorly mixed batch going by recent reviews. I found using it after a shower really helped tame the burn, now that's its mostly cleared up its not bad at all.

It burns & It burns bad
How does it feel ? On a scale of 1-10 it easily burns a 7. It’s similar to icy hot x10. It’ll last about 5 minutes & your itchiness will be soothed; SINCE YOUR SO DISTRACTED ON THE MINTY COOL HOT SENSATION. Good product, comes w/ great discomfort. Its working after about 4-5 days of use. Id suggest getting this product if you need relief of that annoying itch. The smell is also similar to african american female hair gel. Smells pretty ok.

Try it for yourself
To be honest I didn’t know I had jock itch until one day I was feeling hot in bed that it woke me up from feeling so itchy and sweaty from the groin area. Later that morning I had seen the ring/discolored skin in the area where there was moisture. So I had sone anti itch cream and applied that while I looked into some jock itch sprays. I used it the moment I got home once it was delivered. I took a shower, I dried myself and I got some toilet paper tissue and covered my balls and sprayed the area that has the moisture issue and did the same on the left side. Now I know eventually everything is going to touch so I don’t know of the gentlemen that mentioned it burns had to apply it directly there, that might be different as my area with the issue was different. Here is the thing, yes it does sting a bit but it’s not like a fire burning on your balls, at least it wasn’t like that for me. It stings a bit but it’s bearable and to be honest I felt it was more of a cooling sensation really. It’s been about 20 minutes and that’s really how it feels is just a cooling sensation from what I’m guessing being the menthol. I hope this helps someone who’s curious about the product.

Feels like Fire Ants
Following the directions, I applied the Hermon Jock Itch Spray, and I immediately felt like a colony of fire ants was swarming in my crotch. I did not experience the “soothing and gentle” or “quick relief” as described on the product box. I felt pain and discomfort for about 15 minutes. I am not sure if the product would help with my jock itch, but I am not going to find out. I will return it, if I can, or throw it away. I suggest you avoid this product unless you want to know what fire ant bites feel like.
