This special takes place half a year after the end of the television series. With Osaka Gakuen getting ready for an upcoming Valentine's Day event, Sano (Shun Oguri) and Nakatsu (Toma Ikuta) reflect on the final week of their last summer vacation, which falls into the timeline of the original series between episodes 7 and 8. This special also includes a graduation scene and addresses the relationship between Mizuki (Maki Horikita) and Sano. The drama is based on the popular manga of the same name by Nakajo Hisaya. The protagonist Ashiya Mizuki (Maki Horikita), a Japanese girl in the U.S. who one day sees the young athlete Sano Izumi (Shun Oguri) compete in the high jump on television. She begins to idolize him and decides to move to Japan to attend the same school as him. However, Sano goes to an all-boys school, so Mizuki disguises herself as a boy to achieve her dream of being with her idol.
