I absolutely love this dirndl. It is an authentic fit and adjustable at the bust with the ties. It's a thick material so you feel contained and secure while looking fabulous with the various colors of stitching. The apron was super cute too - I didn't wear the shirt they provided but the main value of this product is the main dress. I got so many complements are Oktoberfest! Highly recommend, I did have to order three times to get the sizing right, it does vary and you'd rather have it a touch large than too small!

I love this dirndl! It is so much like the one I had as a young girl. I'm glad I sized up one size based on others' recommendations. (I purchased size 8 and I normally wear size 6 at most US stores). The fabric is very high-quality, the upper part is lined with pretty cotton floral print. The blue fabric is strong and sturdy, and looks great, particularly when its' fitted snugly. I was worried that it wouldn't zip up over the bust, but it was fine, and was so well-made the material laid flat everywhere, no puckering or pulling. I loved how the skirt fit - the short length suited me very well and was full without putting any additional material underneath, but if I wanted to, I could add for extra effect. The apron and the crop blouse were good - nothing fancy, and both good quality. The only slight issue I had was with the tightness of the arm band elastics, but I'm also used to that since my upper arms are not willowy, and more muscular (or German!?) I am excited to wear this for next year's Oktoberfest celebrations. We also won our local Halloween costume contest this past weekend wearing these (my husband in real lederhosen). The Trachten Haus dirndl is not costumey - it's 100% authentic and a beautiful, traditional dress. Ein Prosit!

I was looking for something to replace the real-deal dirndl I bought in München 10 years ago and this did not disappoint! This dirndl is well-made and gorgeous—head and shoulders above the cheap Party City “sexy beer wench” costumes that you usually see. I was concerned about fit, but I had no issues. I usually wear a 6 or 8 in dresses and ordered the 38 (US 8). It fit just fine—if anything, I could have gone down one size. For reference, I am 5’3”, hourglass shaped, 140 lbs, and wear a 34DD. I did swap out the included shirt, which is fairly puffy and matronly and pirate-y, for something that shows a little more skin.

I ordered my usual size but it was a bit too small. It was tight around the rib cage not the waste. I easily reordered and exchanged for the larger size. I am 5'2" and 150, most of my weight in my mid section. I like the shorter length, the other would have been a bit too long and matronly looking. The only disappointment is when you have to order the entire ensemble in one size. I did not need a larger blouse just a larger dress. And when I did get the larger dress, the blouse design was different from the smaller size. That is the only reason it didn't get a five star review. Otherwise, it is a beautiful and authentic dirndl and I look forward to wearing it to three Oktoberfest parties in our area.

We love this dress, wore It to Germany this past Sept. for Oktoberfest. This was the most beautiful, classy Oktoberfest dirndl that we seen!! The only thing I would say The apron Is a little big It does need some work to make It smaller!

I loved that this was short and in my size! I got lots of compliments on it. Before even washing this the front cord lace holders were falling off. The apron arrived with a small tear and I do not doubt it will continue to tear easily but I can always get another. The edging around the collar was incomplete so I will have to try to match the thread and fix that. The color is fabulous and while the pictures don't show off as much as I would like to see online the embroidery is lovely and the light blue shade compliments the outfit and goes well with the whit. I like the garment overall for the cost (compared to some of the $200+ items). Heavy material means it should last a good while. I ordered a 52 based on some of the reviews and the size guide but it turns out to be a little large, which is tons better than too small (5'5", 230lb, 44DD with 44" waist). After sewing back on the lace holders I simply laced the garment tighter which fixed the size issue! The apron string is very long but if you are in the larger sizes it is not quite long enough to tie traditionally to the front or sides but makes a lovely large bow at the back. The garment lining is very pretty as well and while it adds to the heaviness/ hotness it also means you wont be rubbed by seams all day long!

Perfect fit! I have non-traditional dimensions, so I ordered it to fit my bust and waist and figured my hips would be ok since the skirt isn't fitted. The bust and waist dimensions fit perfectly. The three pieces are good quality. The only issue I had was getting the lace up string to fit through the metal grommets. I had to untie the knot at the end and they began to unwrap. I got them laced, recoiled, and knotted again. It wasn't difficult, but a little annoying.

I love this dress, I wear it all the time, sometimes with just a tank top underneath, it's kind of frozen chic. The fabric has no streach to it and the first time I ordered the wrong size, but they replaced it and shipped it back no problem. I was really pleased with how friendly and helpful they were. My only complaint is the little zipper pull has come off, but again Ive had it for a year now and worn it frequently
