They weren't rolled up, they were folded but they layed down perfectly. They do not slide around. I haven't had them long enough to wash them. My 4 year old pit bull has arthritis and I wanted her to not slide on our hard wood floor and these work great! They are also beautiful but that wouldn't be a game changer. My needs are what's best for my Pumpkin.
