Great great product
Great value and good sound it's not a high end pair of headphones but definitely a superior value for the money. They look good and the case is small for being in your pocket. They are the most comfortable headphones I have used. I got this pair for my wife but I've been using a pair for over a year and they work great still great battery life and they are good on the bike for noise cancelling

Sony WF-C510 -- Good Audio For Cheap
1) The sound of the WF-C510 is really good right out of the box without EQ. I listen to a lot of music, various genres, and everything is balanced and in control. Punchy bass, treble that's crisp and doesn't make my ears bleed, and decent mids. I definitely trust Sony when it comes to audio products. 2) Fit and comfort are amazing! I can leave these in all day. No joke, after 5+ hours of use, I feel zero discomfort. Not only are these earbuds the most comfortable earbuds of all time, but getting a good in-ear seal is effortless. Just set them and forget them, zero hassle. Just to note, there's no ANC but I don't mind; I use these at home where it's already quiet. Further, there's a feature called Ambient Sound Control, kind of the opposite of ANC, that lets outside noises in (press button on left earbud). Obviously, the volume has to be pretty low for this feature to be useful. 3) I rarely ever use playback controls on a pair of earbuds, as I just use my phone for that stuff. However, the physical buttons on the WF-C510 work like they should and it's always nice to have actual buttons over touch controls, mainly because there's less chance for accidental inputs, a common occurrence on my other earbuds. 4) The battery life seems to jive with Sony's claims of 11 hours in the buds and another 11 in the case. I'm getting a 50% battery level after 5+ hours at a volume level above half with the "Sony Sound Connect" app installed on my phone. I'll admit, the 11 hour battery claim was the #1 factor for my purchase. 5) The app gives you a ton of stuff to play around with. There's a bunch of EQs, 360 audio (more app downloads and payment required, I think), information regarding battery levels, and more. 6) A couple of oddities: The charging case confuses me. Does the orange light turn off when charging is complete or does it stay lit? I've experienced both scenarios and both times the app said the earbuds and case were at 100%. The instruction manual was no help. Also, for some reason I had to re-pair the earbuds to my phone's Bluetooth after shutting it off, which was super annoying. I was testing to see if an older device (without the app) would pair, so to avoid interference I turned off my phone's Bluetooth. The older device paired with the earbuds just fine without the app, so it isn't required. I plan on deleting it; it's probably a major battery hog anyway. 7) Minor issues aside, the Sony WF-C510 delivers premium comfort and pleasing sound. and they're super affordable. Get yours today! lol Update 3/25 -- Checking in to mention that the orange charging light on the case does in fact shut off to indicate that charging is complete and I'm still very happy with my purchase.

Physical buttons + Water resistance = works in heavy rain and shower (unlike ALL capacitive earbuds)
I don't understand the logic behind other earbuds that claim water resistance with capacitive controls. I have tried almost a dozen across various brands and NONE of them work properly when wet. It's not that the water damages them (it doesn't), it's that the capacitive buttons can't tell a water drop from a finger, so they're constantly registering false touches, jumping tracks, changing volume. CAPACITIVE EARBUDS ARE USELESS WHEN WET. (Fine once they dry off.) This WF-C510 pair from Sony, with physical buttons instead of capacitive touch, is the FIRST SET EARBUDS I'VE FOUND THAT ACTULLY WORK IN THE SHOWER or heavy rain. If you're just going for a jog in light mist or some drops of sweat run down your ears, those others do OK, but in a heavy rain or if you want to listen in the shower, go for these. I use earbuds in the shower so I don't wake up my spouse or kids if I get up early. I used to use a suction cup Bluetooth speaker, but that's loud and disturbs the family. Another problem with many capacitive earbuds: if you don't have any audio playing for a few minutes, they'll turn off to save battery... but because the capacitive touch requires power to work, there's often no way to turn them back on without putting them in the case and then removing them. This means if you don't have the case with you, you can't use them at all. I have actually bought extra cases just to leave in the places I often get stuck with powered-off earbuds, but what a waste of money that is! But note that where JBL, for example, sells just extra cases for their capacitive buds, I don't see that Sony does that. While you don't really need an extra case for these because you can turn them on and off via buttons, in the event you do want an extra case, be aware that your only option might be used on eBay. Also, these Sony WFD-C510 earbuds are small (compact, in the best possible way). These are some of the few earbuds I've found that I can wear under ear protection when mowing or doing other loud equipment work. Most other earbuds are bulky in comparison and ear protection pushes against them directly, really digging into the ear. These are so slim, you barely feel them even while wearing ear protection over them. On sound quality, these are great. They're not the best overall, but I think they are the best per dollar (and no earbuds are as good as real headphones if sound quality is the primary goal). They sound amazing for $50 buds. So, yes, overall, I would highly recommend them to anyone, but especially if you care about using them when very wet or under ear protection. Best I've found for those scenarios by a wide margin. To address both issues with a single pair of earbuds is incredible. One of my favorite bits of tech ever.

Good Value for the Price, with Some Clear Limitations
I purchased the Sony WF-C510 for around $50 or less, and considering that price point, I am generally satisfied with the product. Below is my experience after a few weeks of use. Sound: For the price, the sound profile is good and well balanced. The bass is present, though not very powerful compared to more expensive models. As a user who has owned higher-end earbuds, I do notice a lack of depth in the low frequencies, but at this price range, that is acceptable. You cannot expect premium bass performance from a budget model, and within those limits, the sound is decent. Comfort: The earbuds are small and lightweight, and after some time you barely notice you are wearing them. They are comfortable enough to use while lying in bed, and if they had touch controls, you could even listen while resting on one side without discomfort. That said, the fit is not perfect for me. They do not feel 100% secure at all times, and I occasionally need to readjust them manually. It is not frequent, but it is an area that could be improved. Buttons: For the price, I did not expect touch controls, but the physical buttons can be inconvenient at times. Pressing them often causes the earbud to move out of position, which then requires readjustment. Microphone: Based on feedback from my wife during phone calls, there was noticeable background noise on my end. I cannot provide a very detailed review of the microphone, but this was the main comment I received during the three weeks of use. Would I recommend them? It depends on the use case. I would not recommend them for intense workouts. If you are very demanding about sound quality or expect a high-end audio profile, these will likely disappoint you. However, for walking, office use, or casual listening—and if you are not very demanding about sound quality—they are a good option for the price. Note: I have used the Jabra Elite 75t for about two years (originally $199) and have been using the Sony WH-1000XM3 for four years. Obviously, this is not a fair comparison, as the difference in sound quality is significant. Still, considering the price of the WF-C510, they are worth it if you are not overly demanding about audio performance. ============================ Update after a few months of use: ============================ After a couple of months with the Sony WF-C510, my overall opinion remains mostly the same, but I can now add a few clearer conclusions. The biggest downside is definitely the microphone. Call quality has consistently been poor. On several occasions during meetings, I had to disconnect them and switch to other headphones to continue the call. Background noise isolation for the mic is weak, and for professional use, they are simply not reliable. The sound profile is still good for the price. It remains balanced and acceptable within its budget category. However, if you are used to earbuds in the $150+ range, these will likely feel underpowered and lacking depth. The difference in presence, clarity, and overall audio richness becomes more noticeable over time. Would I buy them again? Probably not. While they are not bad for the price, I personally prefer stronger audio performance and more depth, even if that means paying more. Overall, my experience is neutral — not bad, not exceptional. They deliver what you would expect from a $48 pair of earbuds, but they do not meet my personal expectations, which are influenced by years of using higher-end models.

These are the BEST, really, no joke and comfortable!!
The box was ripped open right where the earbuds were placed in the package. I don’t know if it was someone being curious, or just a shipping machine rip. Either way, I took the earbuds out of package, charged them fully and put them on for a trail. I would put a “mind blown” emoji here. The sound right out of the box was good. Then I downloaded the “Sound Connect” app and I was lost for a good hour and a half, just having fun and listening to music. I was able to quickly use “short cut” way to find what kind of sound I like, as the app just walked me through. I now know, ( by this apps definition) that I like clear bass. There is an equalizer where anyone whom has the knowledge and the skill to set their music to sound just like they want to hear. I have an eclectic range of music. Billy Joel ( older version cd) that didn’t give me the strong clear bass I like, yet it was quite balanced. I listened to Tchaikovsky‘s Swan Lake and that just made me smile. Enter P!nk with “Truth About Love” cd and I could hear parts of the music that I have not heard before. Amazing!! And to end the night with a bang I switched to “Disturbed” Down with the Sickness and I was banging. The sound never got distorted. Everything was clear and I actually had to turn the sound down, as I like it loud!! Mind you, I am not a audiophile, but I do love music, so take my opinion as you choose. The buttons on the buds are easy to use. I used with Alexa, phone call, next song, previous song, and it was seamlessly easy. Functionality is A+. Instructions have a QR Code to take you to a users manual. The buds come with a one year warranty. Just a quick scan tells me I need to keep the box it came in and I am sure there is more that is needed for the warranty. Just read to be safe. The package comes with different size buds inside the package. Now, I can not say enough about how comfortable these buds feel. I have purchased sooooooo many types of earbuds and have NEVER felt buds this comfortable. Every pair of buds, I will not name them, but seriously a LOT, has been uncomfortable. These are just so comfortable and even though I have no noise cancellation, they are sealed so well in my ear that it doesn’t feel like I am missing anything. Long story short, get these!!!!! Sony has always come through and these are no different. Be well.

Great Audio, Great Fit, One Big Problem
I purchased these a little under a year ago, and up until about a month ago, I absolutely loved them. Honestly, I would have easily given these 4-5 stars if it weren’t for the charging case issue. Unfortunately, the case has taken a pretty sharp nosedive lately. I now have to charge it almost daily just to use one earbud at a time... which kind of defeats the whole “wireless earbuds” concept. For the price, I expected a bit more longevity. I usually buy cheaper earbuds because I have a talent for leaving them in pockets or sacrificing a single earbud to the outdoors forever, but I decided to splurge for better sound and call quality - and to be fair, these definitely delivered on that front. I also have smaller ears, and these have been some of the most comfortable earbuds I’ve used. They’re lightweight, not made of super hard plastic, and don’t feel enormous or awkward after wearing them for a while. So overall: excellent sound, calls, and comfort... but the charging case aging this badly in under a year is really disappointing.

amazing value
Bought these to replace my favorite earbuds of the past few years, the KZ SKS and was a little disappointed at first. That was until I tweaked the EQ in the SONY app, which these responded wonderfully to. The bass is very lacking out of the box, but it makes for balanced tone. I like a lot of bass and bright highs, so I moved the slider to 7 on bass and adjusted the others accordingly, with no loss in sound quality. The biggest change though, was the exceptional battery life and amazing passthrough mode that I did not expect to like as much as I do. It allows conversations to be carried out while on the phone or listening to music. Even though these are roughly double the price of my $30 KZs, I would actually say they're an even better value with the features and battery life. They're also super light and relatively small, so they won't fall out of your ears. For a 6mm driver (which is supposedly shared with some of their more expensive models), these have an excellent soundstage and really can thump. The ONLY drawback (if you want to call it that), is the buttons are not capacitive, and must be physically clicked. This can be helpful in preventing accidental presses though, which is a plus. Build quality is what you'd expect from Sony. Very good. Will update if these have any drawbacks in the future.

Great buy
Perfect earbuds for just a normal clear sound. Nothing special like noise cancelation but the do have pass thru that work kimda well. The sound of the music and phone calls are great. All in all a great product for the price. Fits really well in ear.

Great value, great sound, almost like noise-cancelling buds.
I thought I needed noise-cancelling earbuds for the gym, but these do the trick at a fraction of the price. Since they fit snugly with the silicone tips (and I have small ear canals), they block out a lot of noise passively. Noise-cancelling probably wouldn't do much better, because it's not optimized for voices and other higher frequencies. If you want earbuds and don't want to pay $300, then these are a great value. Note that I bought them on sale for $68; the current price of $100 is pushing it. The sound is clear and balanced, no excessive treble or bass. No connectivity issues using a Samsung phone and MacBook. Battery life shouldn't be an issue for most people, they last forever. If you haven't used this type of earbud before, just note that when you first put them in, they might not seal well, but just give the silicone a minute to warm up and it will sit better (provided you have the correct tip size installed).
