This swing is in my opinion the best one out there
This swing is in my opinion the best one out there. I said this because of its price and versatility. We also have the big bulk (but also great if you plan on keeping on the same place and never move it around the house) cradle and swing by FP. But this little guy offer the same swinging options without taking all the space out cradle does. Reviews are giving it a bad review because of its lack of AC adaptor. To be honest this is simply lot fair because the swing itself does a wonderful job in keeping our baby happy. The "power plus version" cost about $45 more, but instead what you can do as I did (see picture) is grab an extra USB cable and connect to the swing, voila no more batteries. I actually use an external battery pack that I had laying around and the thing goes for about 3-4 days before I have to recharge it. But with the USB option you can either plug it into the wall, the computer (yeah I did that before) or to a power brick ad I did. If you want some help with instructions for the USB setup shoot me an email (cassmatheus@gmail) and I would be happy to help. Happy swinging! You need to connect a USB cable to it. Strip the wire on the end of the USB opposite to the one which connects to the wall. Then connect the red and black wires (cut off and throw away the white and green) to the inside of the battery compartment. Not where the batteries go, but inside you need to take apart that side so you can solder the wires to the battery case. Below is some more information I found.they are for another type of swing, but the procedure is the same.I hope it works for you. It is the best swing out there.Instructable: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yG95V9v21gIhttp://www.instructables.com/id/Convert-a-Baby-Swing-from-Batteries-to-AC-wall-P/

Not so great portable swing
Revised review: (changed from 5 stars to 3 stars) After owning this swing for a few months, I changed my opinion. This swing is too heavy and bulky to tote back and forth around the house. It ends up stationed in the living room and only gets used by my two-year old as a "toddler lounger" (which I guess is a plus that can hold his 30 pounds). When it does get used, it's too loud for my liking. Overall I'm disappointed with this swing.Original review: I wish you could plug into the wall, but it works great for a portable swing. I like the different swing positions. It doesn't swing too fast for a 6 lb newborn. Swing isn't too heavy either.

excellent
My baby loves it. I love that it can swing both sides and has different speed and music options. Before I purchased it, I read some reviews that it's not good that it runs on batteries, however I'm using mine for almost a month and I didn't change batteries yet.One thing I would change is to have the option of the music playing continuously. Now it stops after half hour or so and if I don't put it back on right away my baby wakes up or cries. Would definitely recommend.

Nice little Swing
This is a very nice little swing which is easy to store when not in use, but doesn't take up a lot of space if you'd like to leave it out. It's pretty easy to put together and works smoothly. My only complaint is I was under the impression that you could plug this in, but you can't. It strictly runs off of four C batteries, so make sure you have some on hand before buying. It does seem to have pretty decent battery life though, which is good, and it's very soft which baby likes.

Purely great product. Highly recommended.
The best swing ever. It does not hold a whole lot of space. It can be used both directions, side to side or head to toe. My son loved this swing. We used it for almost 4-5 months now and it looks like we're gonna use it till we reach the baby's weight limit for this product. When my son was smaller, he liked the side to side movement better. When he grew a little older, he started liking the head to toe movement better and since he got taller, I felt it was safer in that position too. There is this very helpful review another gentleman wrote about changing this swing into an usb charged one. We did it and saved a lot on the batteries. This product is just great.

Good little swing
Got this for my swing-addict baby. It's really tiny but my big baby fit in it til he was about six months. It doesn't put him to sleep like his big swing but it will keep him asleep for awhile and he seems (seemed- he's too big now) to like to just sit in it. Worth the money because for a couple of months it lived in my car, I brought it everywhere with me. Batteries last a long time (IMO).

Great portable option
I love that I can move it around the house as needed. I haven't taken it with us when we travel since baby boy doesn't much care for it. It gets me a few minutes of hands free entertainment here and there throughout the day. My first loved his cradle & swing and I hoped my second would too, but as they say...no two are the same!

Great swing, eats batteries though.
I love this swing! So portable. It fits great into our car without the toy bar, with the bar it takes up so much space. The only other negative is that it eats batteries. Otherwise, it's perfect! I would maybe have swung for the plug in one even though it's quite a bit more just because of how much the batteries get run down.
