Great quality HDMI switch
This HDMI switch works great. I chose it over the other ones for two reasons: 1) It doesn't automatically switch between inputs when a new one appears. 2) It has a nice substantial remote control that isn't easy to lose. I personally only want to switch inputs manually because, with my old switch, I had a few experiences where it switched away from my video game on its own because another device was auto updating. It was very frustrating.

Great Matrix, especially for the PS5 and RetroTink.
This HDMI Matrix is great, the EDID copy can be a bit funky but power cycling the matrix or the display will always fix any issues. I use it to send my PS5 between my 1080p120hz monitor and my 4K60hz TV. I don't use the downscaling feature on my monitor since I want the 120hz support and it works great. I also use it for my RetroTink 5X and it sends 1440p to my 4KTV perfectly.

Mostly Functional, but Misleading.
It does almost everything it says it will, and it does it very well. However, if you read far down enough in the listing, it claims that while it does 4k at 60hz, it can do 1080p and even 1440p at 120hz. It does not, in fact, do that. Regardless of resolution, it is hard capped at 60hz. I called customer support, and they confirmed as such. It has no support for VRR either, so if that important to you, look elsewhere. The remote is very responsive, although it takes a little bit of getting used to which button does what to which. Also, despite the claims saying otherwise, this is 100% compatible with Capture Cards, as I tested it with multiple.

Awesome Device. (Set the DIP switch to avoid random disconnecting.)
Good and now awesome. Device was as Constantly loosing signal and reconnecting. If watching NETFLIX or any streaming it will cut the stream off every time like 10 mins. Seller got in contact asap - and pointed me to the dip switches in the back. Just SET the sip switch according to your device resolution and you are golden.

Problemas con puerto HDMI OUT A

Flakey switching between attached devices -- usually works though.
Problematic device. Two game decks and a computer connected as inputs. Two TVs with different resolutions connected as outputs. Device will sometimes switch properly but often fails to switch. Repeatedly cycling and reselecting input usually, eventually causes the device to switch. Sometimes it is necessary to disconnect power for a minute and reconnect to get it to switch. Still, it's usually better than swapping cables although an HDMI to HDMI adapter is sometimes easier.

4K HDMI switcher with EDID
Solid build, good quality—metal body with 4K support and audio split for channels A & B. The EDID feature keeps virtualised guests stable when switching devices on an extended display, so the virtual device doesn’t break.

Budget‑friendly yet highly capable Matrix Switch
The OREI UHD‑402D stands out as a budget‑friendly yet highly capable 4×2 HDMI matrix that supports full‑bandwidth 4K60 4:4:4, HDR, audio extraction, and flexible routing. It’s ideal for home theaters, gaming setups, bars, and mixed‑resolution environments. Its biggest strengths are performance and features at the price point; its main drawbacks involve limited ARC support and no CEC. Pros ----- Supports full 18Gbps bandwidth for true 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 output, avoiding the reduced color subsampling common in cheaper switches. Dual audio extraction (optical + 3.5mm) on both outputs—rare at this price point. Flexible routing: mirror or send different sources to each display independently. Includes manual EDID control with 4K→1080p downscaling for mixed‑resolution setups. Easy setup with IR remote and reliable signal stability. Cons ------ No CEC support, meaning TV remotes cannot control connected devices. ARC works only on Output A and only when paired with Input 4. Some setups may require an IR extension cable for optimal remote performance. 🎥 Video & Signal Performance Delivers true 4K60 4:4:4 with HDR and 18Gbps bandwidth — excellent for gaming, UHD Blu‑ray, and streaming. Stable signal performance is consistently praised in user reviews. 🔊 Audio Features Audio extraction on both outputs (optical + analog) is a standout feature. Supports LPCM, Dolby TrueHD, DTS‑HD MA, and more. ARC is supported but only on Output A and only when using Input 4. 🖥️ Routing & Compatibility Can mirror or independently route any of the 4 inputs to either of the 2 outputs. Great for setups with mixed 4K + 1080p displays thanks to built‑in downscaling. 🛠️ Build & Usability Setup is simple; remote control works well. 🏁 Verdict If you need a reliable, feature‑rich 4×2 HDMI matrix without spending pro‑AV money, the OREI UHD‑402D is one of the best values available. It’s especially strong for home theaters, gaming rooms, and small commercial setups. Just be aware of the ARC limitation and lack of CEC.

OREI 4K HDMI Matrix Switch 4 X 2, Switcher
Great piece of kit, well constructed and easy to set up. It is very small, bit longer than smart phone and twice as thick. I use it to connect 3 sources, ROKU, STB and blu ray player to a TV or projector with the audio going out via optical spdif to soundbar. Won't work with HDMI arc or earc soundbars though, but this should be clear from the product pictures. Need to set the EDID switches to match your set up, the guide explains how. Seemed a little pricey as other versions available at half cost but very good quality and should last. Image and sound all good, no dropouts so far.

Does not work with 4K Blu-Ray player.
I have a Sky box, blu-ray dvd player and 4k Blu-ray player connected to my TV and projector with this matrix. Works OK with Sky box and regular Blu-ray player, but can't deal with the output from the 4K Blu-ray. Have changed the cables and outputs around and still get the same problems so have concluded the matrix is at fault here. Disappointing.
