Last year we bought the Tongveo camera and bluetooth conference speakerphone combo for our virtual classes. Together they completely transformed our virtual class experience. These two were a game-changer in terms of clarity, ease of use, and overall performance, until recently we ran into some problems with the conference speakerphone. We reached out to the company, and in no time, we were back on track with a new conference speakerphone. I am extremely pleased with our Tongveo camera and speakerphone and the exceptional customer service of the company. Below is a detailed review of the conference speakerphone based on our experience of the past year, as well as with the new speakerphone of one month. The camera continues with its magic performance!! • The sound quality is superb—crystal-clear audio for both speaking and listening, blocking out any interference and noise. • The built-in microphone captures every word with impressive clarity, ensuring that everyone in class can hear and be heard without any issues. The speaker’s volume is more than sufficient to fill a medium-sized room. • One of the standout features of this conference speaker is its seamless Bluetooth connectivity. This is an amazing product. I was looking for a conference room camera, and one day I went to my lawyer's office, and they where using this device in the conference room where we had a business family meeting, and I was impressed. I asked my lawyer to give me the link in Amazon where he purchased it, and ask him about his opinion with this device, and he was super happy with it. He as well was recommended to invest in this product by a lawyer friend. I began to compare prices, as well as the features with other brands that have similar products, but I found that this product has the best price/quality ratio; and I didn't want to risk with another brand. The sound quality is great; the video quality is as well super good. The camera rotates 360 degrees. The packaging is super nice. The ease of use is easy. The microphone works perfectly. The pre-programmable fixed positions are a nice addition from the company. In my family business we use this conference camera very often because of the meetings we have with my cousins and daughter that live in other parts of the world, and this thing has helped a lot. The look of the product is very stylish, looks very well made. I like this company. I think it’s probably one of the best in the market.

Picture quality is good (not great, but good enough). The zoom feature and swivel remote control works well. The camera with microphone and speaker has adequate coverage for a small to midsize conference room. Setup is not simple and requires some computer skills to get it working with Microsoft Windows 11 and Zoom teleconferencing software. However, once initial setup is done, it is easy to use. The camera only comes with a wall mount, which I had to extensively modify to make it into a stable ceiling mount, so I have optimum coverage in our conference room (which is why I rate the assembly at four instead of five stars).

Update: Tenveo / Tongveo customer support reached out to me to tell me that the primary issue I was facing was because I had received an older version of the speakerphone. They quickly sent me a newer version and it charges with my high power delivery chargers! It also sounds better!! I am now evaluating the 10X PTZ camera. The picture quality exceeds expectations. I am experiencing disconnect issues with it, but Adam is helping me troubleshoot and it appears that the camera is fine and the issue is cable related (the 25 foot Monoprice HDMI cable (purchased separately) is apparently too long and losing signal). I will update this review after more testing. I am using this system for my church. I am just a volunteer and not an AV specialist. Live, responsive, competent customer support is so rare these days and is much appreciated. Thank you, Adam! Original review: So far I have just used the speakerphone. The speakerphone appears to be of reasonable quality physically, but it pales in comparison to the Anker Powerconf S500. The Anker product is made of metal and is significantly more heavy. Also, my Zoom conference call members have indicated that the microphone quality on the Anker product is significantly better. The biggest disappointment is that Tongveo has apparently chosen to save a few pennies by not upgrading its USB-C internal components on the speakerphone - while the plug is USB-C, the internals of the speakerphone appear to be using USB-A components which do not recognize current USB-C power and data transmission protocols. I can only charge the unit using a 5 watt or less power supply. Most of my USB-C power supplies provide more than 5 watts. In this day and age I expect USB-C to operate "plug and play". I find it frustrating that I am expected to use a low power power supply, and that my newer, better power supplies are not supported by this product. When trying to connect the speakerphone to my laptop via my Anker USB-C to USB-C cable, the speakerphone would not connect. I finally discovered that to connect, I needed to use the provided USB-A to USB-C cable, with the USB-A end using the utilizing the provided USB-A TO USB-C Adapter on the laptop side (using this cable in the reverse direction was not supported.) Again, in this day and age I expect plug and play. The Anker product supports using the many USB-C to USB-C cables that I own. I appreciate that I may have to trade off a little sound quality for the dollar savings provided by the Tongveo vs the Anker, but having to remember the idiosyncrasies and special cable and charger requirements associated with Tongveo product is causing me to seriously consider returning it.

I purchased the TONGVEO All-in-One Conference Room Video Camera System for a hybrid meeting that I was planning. The conference room did not have camera/audio capabilities and I wanted to ensure that virtual participants could see everyone in the room and hear them clearly. I tested the product once I received and to my dismay the speaker bluetooth would not connect with my laptop or phone (as I was advised to try to connect to a phone). Customer service immediately sent me a replacement speaker and I was able to connect the speaker via the bluetooth but the buttons on the speaker were not working for me. For example, if I pressed the mute button it didn’t mute the speaker. I had to control the mute, audio level from my laptop. I advised customer service and told them I would work with the speaker. I was able to use it . . . the control buttons just didn’t work. Customer Service came back again and made it right. They sent me out another bluetooth speaker that was an upgrade. I tested the speaker and it connects via bluetooth and the control buttons on the speaker function. My experience with Tongveo Customer Service has been EXCELLENT! They have communicated with me via email and pride themselves on making it right. After my 4-day meeting event, I asked my in-person and virtual attendees what they thought about the video and audio. Everyone had great feedback. Virtual attendees were able to see the in-person attendees and the audio was clear. This is definitely a great investment.

Updated review: I wanted to update our review since we've had the system for a while now. The Tongveo company and customer service team have the best customer service I have experienced from any Amazon seller. We had an issue with the speaker part of the system after using it for about 7 months. I emailed Togveo support, and they immediately replied and sent me a new speaker. They followed up to make sure I received it and that it worked properly. Their communication is fast, sincere and professional. I highly recommend purchasing this system. It works very very well. The connection is great and very clear. And, if you have an issue, Tongveo will take care of it. INITIAL REVIEW: We had a difficult time setting up the system and initially gave it a one-star rating due to our challenges. However, the customer service we received from Tongveo definitely made us change our review to a four-star. We purchased this product last November but didn't actually take it out of the box to install in our new office until February. When we weren't able to install it successfully, I wrote a review with a one-star, thinking that would be the end of it, since we were past our return window. A Tongveo service team member reached out to us immediately and emailed me directly asking me several questions about our installation process and provided some solutions to us. They immediately offered to refund us for our purchase, which was so impressive. We followed their instructions and continued to email to get a bit more clarification. The Tongveo team also continued to follow up with us to ensure we were able to install the system and that we were happy with it, repeating that they would reimburse us if we preferred. Now that we are using it properly, we really like the system and recommend it. If you have any issues, simply contact them or provide feedback that you need some help and Tongveo reps will reach out and help. Great customer support.

We purchased this product for our business account, and within just one month, the camera began displaying blurry visuals. We initially attempted to reach the seller's customer care with no success. Following this, we contacted Amazon customer service multiple times requesting the seller’s contact information. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely frustrating. Amazon representatives gave inconsistent responses, eventually sharing an email and phone number that turned out to belong to a bakery. Later, we were informed that the product would be picked up, and a self-pickup receipt was generated. However, the label listed a seller number based in Andhra Pradesh (which is currently out of service), while the return address was in Punjab. This clearly indicates that Amazon does not have accurate seller information, nor is it taking responsibility for resolving the issue—despite the product still being under warranty. We were also told that the seller would contact us via email. The only response we received was a dismissive message stating, “After 1 month you are getting problem.” As a business account holder, we are extremely disappointed by the lack of support and accountability from both the seller and Amazon. We expect better service, especially when a product under warranty becomes faulty so quickly. We urgently request: A proper resolution to this issue. Clear and accurate seller contact information. An immediate replacement or refund as per the warranty terms. Please treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves.
