Fab NR patches
I am using these to quit vaping (been vaping for a yr as I used them to quit cigarettes) so far very few cravings and on day 5, I also use a breathing necklace for the hand to mouth habit. Yes I do have a slight reaction but its not unmanageable. If you have probs with it staying on get some second skin patches, works like a charm! But for me if I try to take a nap or sleep with it on the dreams are wild, so I recommend you take it off at night!

Works well
I bought these to stop vaping, they really do curb the cravings and I can go about my life thinking very little about vaping... They stick on well, sometimes lifting around the edges, but I have used other brands before that have just fallen straight off, so I dont mind the slight lifting since they do actually stay in place. I do get some redness around the area if I place it on my hip, but my arms seem to tolerate it fine. Also, if im not busy I do find I miss the fidgeting of vaping, but that's more a habit issue I think, rather than me needing to vape... Over all id say it works well and definitely helps when trying to quit, I'd struggle to do it without them.

Best patch
You can do better than Nicotinelle but you will need a plaster to keep them on.

Doesn't stick
Where it works quite well, it doesn't stick at all. I have tried others too; they all have the same problem... but this one has a good effect compared to the others.

Working for me.
I have nearly done 6 weeks on step one. I move down to step 2 next week. I used to wake up in the morning and have a cup of tea and a cigarette- I was a smoker for 10 years. In 6 weeks I have not touched one cigarette. I take the patch off before bed because if I left it on it gave me super weird dreams. I have learnt to remove it about a hour before bed because if I did it right before sleep I had trouble falling asleep. When I wake up in the morning, I still had this urge to get up make a cup of tea and smoke. This has been the hardest part for me. I have had to change my routine in the morning. I was worried if I put the patch on straight after waking and then showering it would come off! I now have a different routine and try shower first and then add my patch on straight after. It’s all about breaking the routine when you smoke. I have noticed three big changes- mood, smell and taste. My mood has been a bit low on some day’s, but I think that could also be down to covid and adjusting to changes around me around due to that. I have been a little irritable on some days, but not enough to make me smoke. My taste buds has changed- I used to love tea and now it tastes so different. I used to have occasional coffee but I find myself drinking more these days. My sense of smell is so strong. If I am driving with my windows open and I drive past someone who is smoking in another car in front I can smell it- that’s insane! I also notice smoke smell on people and it’s not nice! Do I feel better? A little, but I still think it’s too early to tell. I am not coughing as much during the day. Now I am reaching the end of step 1 they are giving me a rush in the morning when I put it on and can make me feel a little nauseous- think it’s because it’s too strong for me now and I am ready to step down. I am looking forward to the day I don’t need to wear a patch- I would say that I haven’t put any weight, just maintained, it was a huge worry for me. I have a little bit of weight to loose but I will tackle that after all the steps are up- I don’t want to put that pressure on me too right now. I have found I am a little hungrier but been conscious to try not over eat. I am proud of myself of what I have achieved in the last 6 weeks and the patches have helped me achieve that. I can’t wait for the day I am off them forever and living a healthy happy smoke free life. Giving up smoking is really hard but the desire and want to stop is the drive to not relapsing. I have already saved about £400 and I hope when I finish all the steps I will use the money to invest Something fabulous!
