Very pleased with this one. It only contains Cetomacrogol emulsifying wax (contains cetostearyl alcohol and macrogol cetostearyl ether), yellow soft paraffin and liquid paraffin. I.e. no perfume, detergents, preservatives etc.The texture is a couple of steps away from pure petrolium jelly. It is thick but soft. Spreads well. Covers well.It's a shame that the ones with added water necessarily have to have preservatives in them because they are nice to use too.I find this one soothing and it doesn't sting me on application.You need to use a clean teaspoon or spatula to take from out of the pot to avoid contamination.I wear cotton and change twice a day, and hot wash to make sure there is no build up on the clothing.

Having lost my hair (bald).. I struggled with a very dry scalp in the winter. Used this and within a few days the best results I've ever had. Not irritating at all and lasts once applied for hours
