Q: Do the blades flex when you cut? I know fish, and pairing knives are supposed to...basically, does the chef knife flex side to side, or is it sturdy?

The miracal blade knives are serrated and do flex some (they are excellent bread knives), the rocker chopper does not flex, quite sturdy, the chopper soes flex but is extremely sharp, my most used blade. There is no actual chef knife.

no clue however this is my second set of these knifes and i gave mine to a friend.

No, Im afraid you will need a whole new set. Im on my 4th right now, and ready to ordered a new set. Its worth it. Just think of all the steak knives you now have! Good luck!
