Here’s a breakdown of my experience: Comfort and Support: The comfort level of this mattress topper is outstanding. It's thick and provides excellent support, which has made a significant difference in my sleep quality. My back problems have noticeably improved since I started using it. I wake up feeling refreshed and without the usual discomfort. The topper stays securely in place throughout the night, so there's no need to adjust it constantly. Improved Sleep Quality: Since adding this topper to my bed, I've experienced a marked improvement in my sleep. The softness combined with its supportive structure helps me relax and fall asleep more easily. It's like sleeping on a cloud, yet firm enough to offer the back support I need. Delivery and Packaging: The mattress topper arrived very quickly and was incredibly well packed. One of the highlights was the handy tool included for opening the packaging. This tool ensures you don't accidentally damage the topper when unwrapping it, which is a thoughtful touch. Set-Up: As expected, the topper had a slight odor upon arrival. You do need to let it "breathe" for about 48 hours to allow the smell to dissipate and for the topper to fully expand. After that period, the smell was gone, and the topper was ready to use. Cooling Effect: One slight drawback is that I haven't noticed any difference in temperature during the night, despite the topper being advertised as having a cooling effect. I don't feel overly warm, but I also haven't experienced any noticeable cooling benefits, which might be something to consider depending on your temperature preferences. Conclusion: In summary, the Bacalar Mattress Topper has greatly improved my sleep quality and alleviated my back issues, which makes it an excellent purchase in my book. It’s comfortable, supportive, and well-packaged with some nice touches like the included opening tool. The lack of noticeable cooling effect is the only downside for me, but the topper still performs exceptionally well in every other aspect. Highly recommended for anyone looking to add comfort and support to their mattress! Review: Very comfortable - Firstly the product was very well packaged, it’s all vacuum packed making it very easy to take upstairs and it even includes a small safety cutter to prevent any damage to the topper when unpacking. It is secured to the bed with straps and it does not move at all, sits on the bed perfectly and the cover can easily be removed for washing. My mattress is quite tired and old, this topper has completely transformed it without the inconvenience and expense of a new mattress. It looks great and is extremely comfortable. I did not realise how uncomfortable my mattress was until I got this topper. I suffer from back pain and often struggle to get a good comfortable nights sleep but since using this topper I have notice that my back pain has been relieved massively and I am sleeping a lot better since putting it on my bed. Also the weather has been very hot since I have been using this topper and I actually feel that my bed has been a cooler more comfortable temperature since using it, this was one of my main concerns as I though it may have caused the bed to be too warm but it doesn’t at all. I would highly recommend this product, it is great value for money. It’s made my old mattress feel a lot more comfortable at a fraction of the price of a new one and hassle free. ## Features - To Find Your Perfect Fit - Soft where you want it when you need it, the Bacalar double topper features a perfectly formulated feel to help you get the most comfortable sleep. - Stay Put All Night - Corner straps of our double topper create a secure, non-slip application on your bed, keeping your double topper in place night after night. - Durable Support - Our ergonomic double topper features special cuts, dividing the double topper into 7 arranged zones to optimally support your neck, back, shoulders, hips, & legs. - Cozy Cover - Featuring a convenient side zipper, our double topper cover is easily removable and machine washable, making you feel refreshed and dry. - Worry-free Snoozing - At Bacalar we design double topper with you in mind. Item arrived securely packaged and was made easily accessible on opening with blade gadget. This double mattress topper was a perfect fit without any issues as the corner straps (moveable if needed) were plenty secure while you slept. Most appreciated is its double sided effect, soft side comfortable and relaxing, while medium side more supportive if needed. Decided to use the same night as topper had expanded already to its 7cm which was suited for purpose, ( your choice ). Excellent value, highly recommended, thank you. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bacalar Mattress Topper Double Bed Thick, Double Mattress Topper for Back Pain Relief - Extra Deep Fitted Sheet 40CM Deep Fully Elasticated 100% Egyptian Cotton 200 Thread Count (White, Double) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/651209904-mattress-topper-double-bed-memory-foam-for-back-pain-relief](https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/651209904-mattress-topper-double-bed-memory-foam-for-back-pain-relief) --- *Product available on Desertcart Cyprus* *Store origin: CY* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
