CalphalonPremier 3-Piece Knife Set

Im love the weight of these knives!!! the metal of the blades continues though out the core of the handle (any really good knife should), the weight is amazing and helps w the cutting so much. they're obviously sharp, as all knives are out the box, but I love the 3 styles, so so so versatile. love them!

This is a prefect assortment to gift to a new homeowner or a student setting up house. The three lengths and designs will serve most kitchen cutting needs. Excellent materials and fabrication should last for dozens of years with regular maintenance. A respected brand offering here as well.

The media could not be loaded. The knives in my 20+ year old set are slowly starting to rust and I need to replace them. When I saw this set by Calphalon, I knew I had to give it a try.Calphalon is a well known name in kitchen wares, so the stainless steel in this set should be good quality.The knives are full tang which makes them sturdy.The handles are comfortable. The knife handles are a classic style that should fit well with other knives in a knife block. They also come with tip guards and white cardboard sheathes if you don't have a knife block.I specifically wanted the serrated knife for cutting loaves of bread and this one does not disappoint. It cuts bread easily without crushing it.But the best thing about the knives is that they are labeled on the base! The name of each knife is printed on the bottom. The letters are printed on the bottom just like Calphalon Stainless Steel and Made in China are printed on the knife blade. It may eventually wear off, but it should last a long time. It is a convenient touch that I like a lot and is my favorite thing about these knives 😀Highly recommend!

These arrived very sharp and ready for work. Fit and finsh was top notch. Expect them to last a long time. The reason for the ding in my rating is they advertised them as coming with sheaths to protect the blade. They did not. Will reach out to the seller and will update their response if any.

This is a very nice knife set and they have already been used several times. They perform well and wash nicely. The chef’s knife is a little smaller than I’m used to using but still serviceable.My main complaint is that they were listed as “Calphalon Premier 3-Piece Knife Set with Sheaths” but there were no sheaths in the box. They were packaged with cardboard covers over each knife but I’m sure that’s not what they were referring to. There were these tiny plastic things that were on the tips of the knives when I opened the box. I sincerely hope that’s not what they meant by “sheaths” because they covered less than an inch of the knife tips AND were so difficult to put on that you are more likely to cut yourself trying to attach one than you would be to just store the knives with no covering at all. I guess I expected more from Calphalon.

This brand always makes great knives, very sharp and ergonomic design. You can place them in the dishwasher and won’t ever turn rusty.I highly recommend this product.

A 3-piece set of knife's that are extremely sharp and will cut through your meats, vegetables, and fruits without an issue. The come with there own sheaths for protection and storage. The three different sizes give you options on which one to use. Cleaning them is extremely simple with warm water and a little soap. Very well built knife's that are solid and easy to hold. Great gift idea and a huge addition to any kitchen.

I received the "Calphalon Premier 3-Piece Knife Set with Sheaths". To say the sheaths are a disappointment is an understatement. The sheaths are thin cardboard, useful to protect the knives during shipping, but they are not going to be very useful day to day.The knives themselves are well made. I especially like the serrated utility knife, it is nice and sharp, well balanced and the perfect size for cutting soft things like tomatoes or bread. The chefs and paring knives are similarly well made - nicely balanced, good heft, very sharp.If these had come with an actual sheath for storing long term - they would have been five stars.
