Excellent capacitor for the money
Easy to install fits and function well. Too soon to judge durability

Easiest thing to install!
Most of the time its just a capacitor issue. This definitely fixed my Trane xr12 HVAC unit at first the fan would not come on without assistance and the compressor just hummed. Make sure you disconnect the main power and the inside breakers so you dont electrocute yourself. While your in there make sure all the wires are still connected to the posts where they should be. this would make it also seem like the capacitor is dying if it has a loose connection. but this product works as advertised...

SAVED MONEY REPLACING MYSELF!!
Great product. My a/c blew just before a heatwave. Googled and found out we should check the capacitor. It’s I guess the battery for the a/c unit. Our old capacitor was definitely blown after checking it with a meter checker thing? No current. It was like 30 years old. Never been changed. Installed the new capacitor and found out that when the old capacitor blew, it also took out a fuse in my main fuse box. Not even knowing to check it, except to flip it off when we were working on the capacitor. The a/c wasn’t working, the capacitor did have a current. My mom called an a/c guy out and said our fuse was blown (needed a 60 as the original 40 was not the right one to run this unit. The 40 was fried! He changed the fuse and told us that we saved money changing out the capacitor & told us to check the fuse plug should this ever happen again. So also check your fuse plug to make sure it’s not blown if your capacitor is holding a charge but a/c still not turning on. Saved over $100 doing it ourselves!! Highly recommend this product!!! So happy!! I’m a girl, so don’t be afraid ladies to do some DIY!! Aloha!! 🤙🏻

Great value for a backup run capacitor
We lost power during Hurricane Ian, and I was praying the heat pump would start properly when the power was restored. Thankfully it did switch on again, but the experience reminded me to keep a spare run-capacitor on hand for the next time a power surge/outage ruins the unit's capacitor. (Replacing a dead one a few years ago (with the help of YT videos) saved me an expensive HVAC service call.) I don't know this product's performance yet, but bought it based on others' reviews combined with low price.

Works alright
No complaints, it works. It is smaller than the original, used a window seal tape to fill the gap, secured.

Great product
It never fails. It’s hot as hell outside and your air conditioning goes out. Now you can call an AC repairman, have them come out, pay the service call fee, and the repair charge, and spend two to $300. I did that once but was smart enough to watch what he did to fix my issue. If your condenser fan is not blowing outside then nine times out of 10 it’s the capacitor on your unit. It takes about five minutes to replace the capacitor and get yourself going again. Be smart and turn your electric off to the unit first, open your condenser, exposing the capacitor, and change the capacitor which is simply three wire connections. Wala you’re up and going again and saved yourself a butt load of money.

Great replacement for HC98KA056D
Replaced a HC98KA056D with this model, works like a charm. Size wise it's a bit smaller than HC98KA056D but nothing that a zip tie can't fix. Price wise, HC98KA056D is around $80, this brand and model was $12.....why not? :)
