That means the material absorbs water and can also evolve water.At a standard climate of 23 °C and 50% relative humidity the polyamid reaches saturation of water at ca. 2,5 %.The mechanical characteristics - above all flexability and tensile strength - are significantly influenced by its content of water.It is therefore very important for the use of cable ties that the polyamid has a stable water content of 2,5 %.The quality and processablity of the product is also influenced by its water content. Therefore the appropriate storage of the product is essential.Should your cable ties nethertheless became refractory:For private use you can lay the cable ties into water for ca. 30-60 minutes and they reach almost the original flexability.
