This is one of those inventions that I never knew I NEEDED until I tried it. I will never not use this thing. I keep the carabiner (which I LOVE, THANK YOU!) clipped onto the back of my "doggy" fanny pack and away we go! I've got 3 dogs all between 25-34lbs, and the size Medium is perfect. Large was a bit much, but could work for 2 labs/shepherds/huskies. Or if you have a bunch of medium & small dogs. Would make a great gift for your dog walker.When I walk our dogs, I wave to neighbors and often stop for a chat. I used to feel SOOO undignified and have anxiety about holding a steaming bag of crap while trying to socialize. Now it's a non-issue. Surprisingly helpful for that anxiety! Out of sight, out of mind. No smells escape either, but dear lord, when you open the tube to empty it, it's potent! My husband used to think this tube was silly and now when he joins on walks he immediately puts the full bag in there. We can actually hold hands now instead of holding hot bags of crap.It's also fabulous to have for longer walks and at the dog park because the garbage cans are spaced a bit far apart and again, with 3 dogs & three leashes, I enjoy having one less thing to keep track of. I've been using this multiple times a week for the last year and it's still in perfect condition. If it breaks it would've been worth every penny and I'll buy another one immediately. Give it a couple minutes to air out after emptying and it's safe to bring inside the house. How could this product be better? Make it in black, please.

Watch the video - works just like they say!! It's the perfect solution for not having to carry a bag or multiple bags of smelly dog poop!!! I take my dog with me on walks, a lot more often, since buying this DDT!!I'd give it more stars, if possible. My only recommendation, is that there be two side clips, and that it came with a strap to wear as a crossbody. On my neighborhood walks I do not carry a backpack and my athletic wear does not provide anywhere to clip it - like with a belt loop. You can clip it to the hand loop of the leash.I purchased the medium tube and own a miniature Schnauzer. She seems to go to the bathroom a lot when we walk, and the DDT has held multiple bag with no problem. I also tie the bags before putting them in the DDT and still have plenty of room.

I use this daily. It works great to contain the smell while you finish your walk. I hang it outside with the lid open when not in use and have not had a problem with lingering odor

Cool idea and I use mine everyday. It's hooked to the leash and it's nice not to think about "did I grab bags" and "how much I hate carrying full poop bags".It's not as durable as I would hope. I've had it about a month and the lid already cracked along the edge. It still works, I'm just a little disappointed in the durability.

Great to have this cup attached to the leash to quickly dispose of poop bags. The cup is roomy enough to hold several bags depending on your size dog. I have 2 dogs and take longer walks. Garbage cans are not always nearby. Nice for walking in forest preserves or larger parks and open areas.When you open /close the tube it will have an odor if inside so I open in garage to empty. Opening outside is not a problem with odor.

Well, overall it met my expectations.I took my service dog with me to a 2 week Alaska vacation and needed a way to carry his poop with me until I found a bin. It fits his poop only while he was on a raw diet (small hard poop) if I were to try it now there is quite a bit of squishing and molding that has to happen to get it all in. It’s a good design and super sturdy! the container stayed closed and securely on my person. I got many compliments from both tourist and park rangers on how cool and thoughtful the design and concept is.This is definitely being added as a permanent addition to my Service Dog travels bag!The only things I hate about it is if clipped a certain way on my bag or belt it would make an annoying squeak from friction and if you ever open the lid....... let’s just say demons would turn tail at the stench it traps inside....I even lined it with several bags and wasn’t keeping poop inside for more than an hour at a time.... and each night I washed it out and left it outside open all night..... ugh. I didn’t wash it out the first two nights it was bad. Even washing it didn’t improve much of the smell when opened.Overall 5 stars! Just please figure out a way to kill the inner smell please?

TL;DR: Good for hiking if in bag, not good for walking with it clipped to something.This poop holder does contain the smell, so if I have to walk a client dog with notoriously disgusting poop again, I'll use it, but otherwise it swings around and bangs constantly and is not worth it for normal smelling poop. (I use Earthwise scented bags so they are thick and contain the smell of normal poop.) If you clip it on a leash, it will swing around endlessly. If you walk a dog that stops and goes and pulls when s/he does it, this will smack you in the hand constantly. If you try to clip it to your dog walking belt, it will smack your hip with every step. It is nice for hiking, though, if you have a backpack. Stick it in the backpack and you don't have to have random whiffs of poop every now and then.I think this would also work to do the same thing with human poop if you are day hiking in a place where digging is not allowed or possible. Bring your (STURDY) poop bags and this holder, pick up the TP along with the poop, and just dump it at the can at the trailhead. It wouldn't be big enough to hold more than one poop.
