It is a great STEM project.My students were learning about different types of energy, that is the reason I purchased 4 kits.During the project, they all collaborated and help each other with the assemble.The excitement in the classroom was just unbeilivable!

Great craft kit for boys AND GIRLS!!!
This review is for 5 Set Individual STEM Kit for Kids 8-12, Bulk Craft Projects Science Activity. I ordered this for our holiday family gathering. We’ll set up a “craft corner” for the kids and I think this will be a hit. Came with 5 kits with instructions in separate zipper plastic bags. All are identical so no fighting there. I’ll add the necessary batteries to each kit. The little cars look easy enough to assemble but there are teeny tiny parts so we’ll have to be sure the toddlers don’t get involved. I seriously wanted to assemble one myself – it looks like so much fun and I’d love to see it working, but I’ll hold off so the kids can enjoy them! I am taking off one star because the description said it was for boys, but our girls will enjoy them just as much or more. Other than that, it’s 5 stars from me.

Hard to build
Cool, but the pieces are REALLY small and makes it hard to put it together. Only one screwdriver per set, so, I don’t recommend buying it to give away in goody bags

Warning! Might burn your hands!!!
Not a good product. It says on the package that it is for ages 6+ but even adults had trouble with the tiny screws. It was tough to keep the wires from touching the metal motor shaft. Warning to parents: if the wires touch the metal motor shaft, it will heat up and spark. It burned my kids hands! No safety features to prevent that! Not good for parties!

Great affordable STEM project!
Used it as a party favor for Wild Robot theme and the kids all loved it! Ages 5-9 (younger needed assistance).Kids drew on the ground and had races! Super fun, each came out to $3 each

Teaches mechanical processes
Interesting toy. Introduces building skills geared toward young children. Love the concept however not quite a quality product.
