HOKO Crush No. 3 - Premium Impression of Lost Cherry | Extrait de Parfum, 1.7Oz | Cherry, Almond, Jasmine & Vanilla | Long-Lasting inspired Unisex Perfume | Vegan & Paraben-Free

I'm new to the Hoko brand so I decided to try the sample pack and see how these fragrances worked for me.As everyone knows, fragrance is highly individual and your mileage can vary hugely. However, if folks are saying the same thing over and over again then it may be helpful.Regarding the 2 "men" scents. the Victorious was too much for me (a woman) and it smelled like super powerful cologne. Surprisingly, the other "men" scent, Untamed, began also like a strong male cologne but after 2 hours it began to exude a slightly sweeter and softer scent. I wouldn't get it for myself, because it was still too masculine (translation: like after shave) but it was definitely the softer of the two.Moving on to Midnight #9, easy for me to judge this because I already have the original Black Opium and I wear it frequently. I'd say it's a pretty good dupe, but not anywhere near as long-lasting or strong - Opium is good on me for 8 or 10 hours, and I can;t escape it. The Hoko dupe Midnight #9 seems a teeny bit more powdery, but not by much. Overall it's a decent copy.Next is Radiant #11. Well, I happen to also have some BR540 and it doesn't smell the same as Radiant #11. The Radiant #11 seems to be missing the grounding cedar scent of BR540. The Radiant dupe is considerably lighter and to me it's similar to Ariana Grande's Cloud - which is said to be a dupe for BR540.The "women" scent Crush #3 definitely has a cherry top note and it first brought to mind Borkum Riff, that cherry and vanilla flavored pipe tobacco made popular in the 1970s. I don't think the Hoko scent is all that feminine, despite the sweetness; I think it's unisex and would be scrumptious in the fall, mixed with wool and/or a leather coat.The final scent, "women" Bliss #17, isn't at all the type of fragrance I would wear. There's something about it that clashes with my skin, and I've just learned what it is, the pear. I've tried another pear fragrance in the past and it comes off with a heavy medicine smell on me. I might turn this over to a friend and see how it fares on them.Overall this is a fun, inexpensive pack and a great way to try out some dupes. Out of all of them the Crush #3 is my fave, surprisingly.The samples were designed in the USA and manufactured in Turkiye.

I haven't bought a full size bottle of perfume in years for exactly one reason: I don't want to be stuck with it if I end up not liking it. Sure you can try a spritz on the shop but so many of us need several exposures to determine if we really like a scent. This sample package gives us exactly that and at a really great value. 6 scents, 2 for both men and women as well as two that are enjoyed by both. Personally I was excited about the orangeblossom/coffee/cashmere one, and that is the one I would have ordered full size, but the scent ended up not driving me wild so I am glad I could sample it for a few days first. The Black Cherry one, however...I wouldn't have picked that one up at all and it is my favorite now. Black cherry too often smells fake, like medicine, but this one smells like you are picking cherries straight from the plant under a gentle sun. Amazing. More companies should consider offering these tiny sets at such an agreeable price point.

I think this is a really fun and inexpensive way to try out some new scents if you’re on the fence about a specific scent. My husband and I both sampled these, he really liked the men and unisex scents, I loved the cherry dupe. I am admittedly very picky with perfumes, so me saying I didn’t care for a lot of the scents is a “me problem”- scent preferences are subjective! I love that these have a spritzer on the top, usually sample come in those annoying snap off lids that you end up spilling everywhere, lol. I spritzed my wrist with the cherry, and the other one with the 540 dupe. I tried to wash off the 540 twice with soap and I swear I can’t get the smell off of me, and the cherry was very strong initially but dried down very faint but sadly didn’t have a long staying power. I can still smell it but it’s much lighter than the other cherry dupe I normally wear.

Had to come back to the listing to see what these scents were supposedly inspired by. I wish they would have included this in the presentation. Overall a reasonable value.“Women” scents are amazing. Crush #3 smells like a Vegas casino although I can’t put my finger on which. One of the more flowery ones. Bliss #17 is beautiful with no vanilla and matches with my chemistry.Unisex scents are nice too. Midnight #9 is supposed to smell like Black Opium and this is one time where I can compare it to the real thing and I think it’s pretty darn close. Radiant #11 is gorgeous and I think it’s more feminine and very floral, which is what I appreciate the most. I didn’t expect to like this one and turns out I love it.“Men” scents: Untamed #5 is very sporty and my first thought is aftershave. Victorious #1 is super citrusy and really lovely.

It ok. It definitely has a cheap mens cologne note to it. I can't place the exact smell but I don't care for it as a womens perfume. I'm going to try it a few more times, and if I still hate it, I'm giving it to a preteen. To be fair though maybe I'm one of those few people baccarat just smells bad on.Update: My husband tried it also. It's a no go for him also. It actually gets stronger the longer it's on your skin. He had to wash a few times to get it off. It's a plus if the scent works for you. It's horrid if it doesn't. I would buy this brand again, only if I knew what it smelled like before I bought it. It has some strong staying power.

They all smell terribly of alcohol.No. 3 and No. 17 smell ok as perfumes and No. 5 as a cologne but it takes a little while to settle. And No 5 kinda has a mothball feel to me.Not really worth it for me
