Imagine my horror when I went play what I thought was another beautiful instructional video my Mr. Schmid and instead on the DVD was some third rate sales pitch call Magic ABCs! The DVD even had a photograph of his May barn painting on it. How does a fraud like this occur? Review: Ok, not great - Would like to try a workshop in the future. Hope he is better in person. Will watch many times to get his point

I enjoyed this DVD immensely and I am also savoring his book Alla Prima II. I then order May DVD which was shipped to me by this Amazon partner Reflections. Imagine my horror when I went play what I thought was another beautiful instructional video my Mr. Schmid and instead on the DVD was some third rate sales pitch call Magic ABCs! It is a pirated copy!
It is a pirated copy! The sound is bad and comparing it to other DVD's that came from R.Schmid's publishing co. there are other signs.

Everything about Richard Schmid is wonderful! I love his videos and have learned so much from them.
