Mother-In-Law's Kimchi Extra Spicy Concentrated, 10 Ounce

This is a well balanced paste and is spicy but still flavorful. I find I can use it in a lot of dishes for a bit if spiciness without overpowering flavor. It is very stable and lasts forever in the fridge. I think I prefer the spicy versus the extra spicy and I’ll probably go back to that when this is used up. Overall a very good product line.

The title pretty much says it all. I've been eating Mother In Law's Kimchi for a long time and decided to try this paste. The tase is incredible. I just wish it was quite a bit hotter.

I do like this brand, but even tho it is labeled as Extra Spicy I find it lacking in heat. I will try and tweak w/ Thai red pepper flakes. I also like that this doesn't hit you w/ sweetness up front. Not a fan of corn syrup being 1st ingredient or 2nd....gratefully they don't use it.I had some homemade Gochujang made by an older Korean couple who had a tiny diner some yrs back. And it was the BEST I've ever had. Now am in an endless pursuit to find same or close .

I purchased this on my last trip to San Francisco. It was in a little store in Oakland for foodies. This paste is a punch of flavor that I have added to many stir fried dishes and keto-diet slaws. It’s got just the right amount of spice. Yummm!

Great flavor, I like to add this to my fried rice or even to stir fry. It’s very versatile, though I wouldn’t say that it’s “extra spicy” but it has a very delicious flavor.

I love the flavor of this gochujang. It is spicy, but to me, it’s perfect. I use it to flavor Jjamppong or simply for dipping. The only thing I wish is that you get more product for the price, but otherwise, it’s my go-to for cooking Korean dishes.

Everything Mother In Law makes is perfect and this is too.

I was afraid this was going to be overly hot, spicy but it gives a reasonable heat without burning your mouth.
