I've had this drive for a few months and love it. I got it because of it's size and the ability to use it on the 1 and the X/S. That and the value for money is certainly there with 4TB. It was easy to use, not necessitating instructions. The size is great, it fits on or next to the xbox. The drive itself is high quality and not very noisy. The only problem I've seen is sometimes the drive doesn't shut off, but the light on the drive will let you know and sometimes when the xbox starts up it won't connect to the drive and I have to unplug it and plug it back in.

It’s built for this. What to Know: This drive does not play Xbox Series X|S games directly from it. You can store them on it, but to play them, you’ll need to move the game back onto the console’s internal SSD. Occasionally, the Xbox might not recognize it on boot-up. Unplugging and plugging it back in fixes it every time, but it’s something to keep in mind. It’s a hard drive, not a solid-state drive, so don’t expect lightning-fast speeds—but it’s perfect for bulk storage. Bought this 3 years ago and the price has definitely risen since then but it is still going strong and is worth it for gamers. It’s slim and doesn’t take up much space on your desk. This is a great gift for someone who’s running out of storage on their Xbox. Were able to have 37 games downloaded and only at 77% storage used and many of these games are bigger too such as ARK, RDR2, and GTA.

Works great for storage and if you have pre xbox series x games you want to be able to store and play. The whole reason I bought it is to store all of my games. The 5tb is plenty big enough. However the reason I'm giving it 3 stars, is because for those of us that aren't tech gurus there should be something in the item description that states the fact that this product will only store x series games. They become unplayable unless you reload them back on top your Xbox. Pointless. This is basically what I was doing before this product.

Works well with my Xbox Series X for storing games. For a HDD it is fast, and a reliable way to store and play Xbox One and 360 games, plus as a place to store Series X games. Be aware that an external HDD or SSD like this can only store Series X games, to play them you need a Storage Card or the internal drive.
