The shipping was on time and the item arrived as described but unfortunately one of the herb keepers was already broken upon arrival (not due to poor shipping/packaging). It's still usable so I'm not sending it back but the stainless steel wrap around on the base is not secure on one of them and it just slides up when you try to pick the unit up. Because of this I have to pick it up from the top which I'm not entirely comfortable with since I fear the base is going to disconnect and spill water everywhere. Before I use it again I'll try to superglue the wraparound back on as it should be but I gave the product only 3 stars for the quality being questionable based on one of the keepers already being broken before it even came out of the packaging. Aside from that, I like the design and was surprised by how big the keepers are.

Grrrreat product....works amazingly well !!
This is kind of an unusual product as there is a limited market for the kind of people that can benefit from it, but if you are one of those people who enjoy cooking with herbs, love to get fresh herbs, and find they don't keep very long in your refrigerator, you will find this product very helpful indeed. I actually use them for my "freshly grown in my garden herbs" and they have outperformed even what I have expected. You can take these and "freeze dry" your freshly grown herbs in them also, which is what I did and they performed amazingly well for that task even though the product write-up doesn't mention that you can do this. I give this a five star rating and highly recommend this product for any cooking connoisseur's out there.

One of the storage items were broken coming out of the box.

The washing machine set the metal part apart from the plastic on the first cycle.Useful but very easy to break.
