These highlighters are not what I would usually expect. They feel like crayons with their characteristic greasy finish.The pens have a twist mechanism at the top which pushes the nibs out. The 8 colours they come in are pastel in subtle shades that range from light old English rose through light beige, putty, grey. Guess you could use these for colouring in as well. They come in a handy strong plastic wallet on the back of which a sticker displays warning messages (incl not for under 3 years in English, French, Germany and Italian) as well as company name and postal and email addresses of manufacturer, UK and EC representative. Made in China.

These pens will work fine as highlighters, though their line is not always the smoothest, broad strokes often failing to be wholly consistent.Not typical, as highlighters go, these have a slightly greasy gel-crayon feel, though the ink dries very quickly. The nibs can be gradually extended as needed by a twist mechanism.The colours form a pleasing pastel range between pale pink, apricot, through beige, brown, to greens, and a grey that's more beige than grey really. Two of the browns strike me as being a little dark for highlighting purposes.Aside from highlighting, they can have some use in creative drawing, though they don't play well with some other inks, notably smudging some well-dried black fine-liner lines. They can blend well with acrylic paint pens, however, to some interesting effect. The fast drying of their ink is useful for such.

I got these because my son's favorite color is green he's gonna be getting his boy Bible soon so I'm on the hunt for gel highlighters. They worked well, no bleeding or sticking. I didn't love that the cap doesn't fit on the back because that means we are more likely lose them. Also, the green shades aren't THAT different from one another so I would consider them more replacements than anything else. Could use a few different colors since the green shades are basically duplicates.

I had never seen these before seeing them on Amazon. I am an avid reader and use highlighters all the time. I absolutely love these. It’s almost like using pencil eye shadow. They are super easy to use. They glide on perfectly and do not darken the words. I love the colors and especially the concept.
