This is made of sturdy, firm foam. The top is nice a flat and holds a crisp shape. It creates good support for working on the couch especially if you like to sit cross-legged like I do. I'm rather petite and found the full extended height to be a bit too high for me and my arms would get fatigued. Though I'm not sure this is how you are supposed to use it, for me, it's far more comfortable with the sides folded back in at my waist. The folded in sides then provide the perfect elbow support for typing. Luckily, I can still fit into the middle (though rather snugly) with the arms folded in. The side attachments don't come off entirely, which I find surprising since the front does detach. A folded in approach might not work for someone larger than xs. The top has a nice large surface area big enough for my rather large laptop. There's even room on the side for my wireless mouse. I like that there are pockets on the sides. It's convenient if you wanted to stow pens or a remote. Me, I just like to stick my hands in there when I'm thinking. The material is microfiber and has a nice texture to rub your hands on also when thinking. I do find, though, when I'm in what my kids like to call my "castle", I feel reluctant to have to go the trouble of having to move it to get up to get anything. It's a little cumbersome. I'm developing a bad habit of asking my kids to go fetch me things. Queen in the castle ;) Overall, I'm pretty happy with this.

This gives you a place to prop your arms to make using your phone more comfortable. It doesn't really work for holding a snack. I tried that for my 5 year old who like to have a snack on the couch. It's pretty big and bulky. While it's nice if you are going to be laying in bed on your phone, I find it annoying to store. If you think you'll use it everyday, it may be worth it. But I feel like I'm always trying to figure out where to stash this when not being used.Good quality foam and cover.

Thought by reading the side bottom parts came off but they don’t. The flat one on the font does. The side parts are always in my way but bought it because I could have used those side parts for support for my arm in my chair when not using the whole thing

I use this lap pillow whenever I feel like working from my bed, and it makes it so much more easy to do so. I actually don’t use it in the position intended since I keep the arms folded in as support for my wrist but it works much better ergonomically for me in that position since it would be too high for my arms in the advertised way. The material is soft and the foam is firm, and I’m more than happy with how this lap pillow makes working away from my desk feel so much more comfortable.

I ordered this Enitya versatile pillow to be able to do some work on my laptop while I lay in bed. I won't use it every night, but probably multiple times every week. I like to make sure all loose ends from the day are taken care of before I hit the hay, so I will handle my unread emails and make sure any open Excel or Word documents are saved.Having this pillow to use is invaluable, because sometimes the "before bed" tasks can take an hour or more. This pillow allows we to sit with my back straight against the headboard, and my legs straight out. This is a well constructed reading pillow, firm yet soft and comfortable. I like that the feet on the sides fold in, and that the lap pillow is removable. I work from home and more often from bed than my home office, and I change positions constantly, so this flexible configuration accommodates more unconventional seating positions. Since i seldom sit straight up, I often keep the legs folded in and the lap pillow off to reduce the pillow height since i normally work with a pillow under my legs, which elevates my position and makes the additional height impractical for me. Then I lean back in bed and flip the reading pillow over on my lap so I can rest my laptop on the tip of the reading pillow, which gives me the additional benefit of making the side pockets very easily accessible. Speaking of side pockets, they're my favorite feature by far! I am constantly surrounded by 4 "assistants" (3 cats and one puppy), which means I am forever having to search out my accessories from under them (or typing over them when they climb on my lap), which is quite frustrating. Not anymore! Now I can keep my 2 phones, reading glasses, TV remote, fan remote, inhaler, pen and pad safely tucked in the side pockets for easy access, so no more fighting with my babies over my stuff :)).The reason I deducted half a star is that, as a short person (5'2"), I wish the side legs were two blocks on each side instead of one, so we shorter people could have half the full height on the sides as needed. It would also be great if the side legs were fully removable as well, like the lap cushion. Other than that, this is a great reading pillow that accommodates a wide variety of unconventional positions, and the best I've found so far.

So my wife really likes this. And I think it's comfy even if, due to the way I sit, I can never use it. But it's a good innovation and improves posture which is worth a lot (including a 3rd star). That said, the fabric is cheap as chips. And the velcro was misaligned. And there were clearly mistakes in making this piece. Mistakes someone made, saw, and still sent out on the production line. That's not good. Not good at all.
