The media could not be loaded.  Very favorite part about this electric shaping dish is the accurate temperature control. There’s no more guessing whether or not you’re running out of sterno and whether or not water is hot enough and whether or not your food is being kept at a safe temperature. I love that. You can accurately set it and control exactly what temperature you need your food to be out. I love that. There are no open flames to deal with which means Wendy conditions are not Issue. I love that. You don’t have to worry about old sterno. It’s very easy to use. It’s very easy to clean. The stainless steel 9 quart dash is plenty large for medium to large crowds. It’s very easy to clean. The lid is easy to clean. I like that it’s clear plastic so that you can see the fluid, which means the lid is most likely going to be left closed more often than a stainless steel lid. I like that the cord comes completely attached so that you’re not wearing about bumping up and ruining the back of the cord. And I love that it comes at two clips. They are a little bit difficult to get into place . We really have to kind of pull and manipulate them but once they’re on the lid does not move which is really great for serving. You can still lift the half but lift, but the lid itself isn’t shifting around on top of the shaping dish. I like that you can heat it up quickly, especially if you start by using hot water. It says it takes about 20 minutes for the water to heat to temperature if you use cold water. I recommend starting with warm to hot water if you are looking to get things going faster. It has a range of temperature that I don’t think you actually even need but it’s a large range. Food safety will tell you that you need to keep food at about 140 to 150° to keep it safe. This goes from about 86 to 194°. There’s plenty flexibility in there. It has a master on an off switch so that you know void anybody accidentally turning it on. You don’t want to use it without water in the lower dish. You only need about an inch of water For it to work effectively. You don’t want too much but it’s bubbling out. It’s really good quality as I need to. I love that. I have better control over the temperature. I love that. It’s easy to store and that I’m not having to find an extra stern now. I love everything about it. It’s a great value and it is something I will get so much use out of.

This 9 quart electric chafing dish is perfect for us to have friends and families over for parties. It is made with good quality stainless steel. The build quality is good. There is not sharp edges. Everything fits well. It has a stainless steel full-size food pan and transparent roll top that opens in the front. The power cord easily detaches for storage, and the temperature control is highly accurate. Located on the back, the on and off switch is easy to access. The water reservoir is easy to cleaning. Since this is electric, you don't have to mess with sterno fuel cans any more. Which is a big plus for me. To keep food secure, the lid clips tightly onto the top and the dish even comes with a pair of metal tongs that fits the setup well. I have used it many times and it is still like new. I really like how it is easier to setup, clean, and store away when comparing to our old sterno fuel setup.

I wanted this for back up when a flame chafer could not be used and it is great.

We've used this a few times this summer for gatherings at our home. Controls are simple and straightforward. With two trays its great for serving multiple dishes with little to no hassel. We've tried the flame chafing dishes and these are so much nicer not having to worry about the flame and running out of fuel. The trays and device are made from nice thick stainless steel, which makes cleanup a cinch and should last for many years. Very happy with this order.

Very convenient for keeping meals warm. It is a good size, but not so big that it overwhelms the kitchen. I am not a fan of plastic covers over hot food, so I think it would be nice if it came with a stainless steel lid option, or stainless with a glass window or something. But as it, it looks great and it is nice being able to see the food easily.
