This is a decent safe with good features. They work well and you can get into the safe fairly quickly. Would have liked more mounting options.

This small safe can be bolted down through the floor or through the back wall using a set of two pre-drilled holes through either surface. The 0.43 ft³ safe is compact and light enough to be easily carried off if it is not bolted down from the inside. There is a felt pad to lay over the metal floor of the interior to help protect the contents. Use the back-up key to open the safe the first time, then follow the instructions to set a 4-8-digit unlock code and scan a fingerprint for quickest access. The fingerprint scanner works very well, usually opening on the first press. If you don't press hard enough for a successful scan, it will beep to prompt you for a re-scan. The unlock code must be comprised of the digits 1,2,3, and 4 only. If the four AA batteries go dead, you can use the back-up key to open it, or you can use a 9V battery, inserted onto the 9V battery terminals on the front panel next to the keyhole, to power the keypad/fingerprint scanner. There is an LED light that illuminates the interior of the safe for about 30 seconds after unlocking. This is a very handy feature. The black finish on the safe looks great and has no nicks or scratches. The safe has recently come down in price, so I think it is now an even better deal on a nice safe

This safe is great, lightweight, I had some trouble with the fingerprint key, it's has 3 different ways plus the master key to open it. Inside the safe has a light that automatically comes on when opened. The padding inside is grey and the safe is deep, it's sturdy and also has an alarm that sounds after three attempts. I like that the most, great for price.

Nice safe. Has a vibration alarm if it gets bumped. Easy to set finger prints to open. I wish it came with a small shelf but its great to have a round for easy access. Not heavy duty but it is nice.

This small safe is a nice size for securely storing small items. It is perfect for storing a handgun and some ammo, and/or securing passports or other important documents. I like that it is able to be bolted to a wall from the inside, meaning it cannot just be picked up and carried off. One knock is that it is just a big cavern, there is not internal organization so you will have to do something for that on your own. The safe has 3 easy ways of being opened - a key, a fingerprint, or a code. The code only has 4 numbers so should be easy to come up with one that works for you. This fingerprint reader seems to have good accuracy when reading your print. Just follow the enclosed, easy to read instructions for set up. The code and fingerprint reader work off of 4x AA batteries. There is a panel on the front that covers the key hole and a place where you could hook up a 9-volt battery as a way to get the code or fingerprint reader to work. (But you have a key , so...why) I do wish the keyhole cover did not fully detach. Seems like it is something that could be lost easily. The silent mode is a nice feature for keeping the safe opening quiet when you may need to in an emergency. The bolts and door are heavy and sturdy, but the other sides of the safe are fairly thin metal. For the style, size, and quality of the safe, I feel it is a great deal.

This is a nice safe for storing a couple handguns, important documents or money. What I really like is the fingerprint recognition feature. It's quick and easy to get into, and features a light, which my other safe does not have. Also, if you don't want to use the fingerprint recognition, you can use a 4 digit code. It also comes with 2 keys, and pre-drilled holes for mounting to the floor or wall. Not fire or burglar proof!

There are only 4 numbers on here, so you can't set any code that you want. That was a bit hard for us b/c we couldn't think of a code without a number above 4 for a while! It was one we had to write down due to this. It's a nice safe. It is pretty heavy & not easy to break into. It is great for firearms next to the bed so that your children can't get to it, but you can quickly with your fingerprint.
