Works very well, actually made it all the way to Tahoe for our camping trip with no issues! Straps take some time to tighten up but everything held strong for the 2 hour journey. Haven’t tested out water resistance yet but so far so good. Tons of space, fit all 3 sleeping bags, air mattresses, and other stuff which opened up room in the trunk.For the cost it really worked out!

This item is not aerodynamic. It is very noisy above speeds of 30mph.This item lets rain water in to soak your items.This item is not weatherproof.I bought this and mounted it on my car, and put two suitcases of winter clothing in it. I vacuum packed one set but left the other loose in the bag. Everything that was not wrapped in plastic had gotten wet, and moldy; a whole suitcase of clothes ruined thanks to being placed in this roof carrier. one jacket, 6 shirts, all ruined and moldy. The stains will not wash out.

It’s less than $10.no it doesn’t keep anything dry but honestly- I don’t know why- it seems pretty well made for the price.first time ever giving a 4 star review for a thing that doesn’t do what it’s designed to do. ITS LESS THAN $10!!!!

This was a great purchase for a last minute trip, we started off only relying on the straps provided but after getting about 30mins into our 4hr drive I decided for my peace of mind to opt into buying some ratchet straps to be sure it stayed in place.

I liked that it is a big size, it fitted all i needed and there was space left to put more things,Had good coverage until it got a whole. I dont know if it was because of the wind or it rubbing on the strap i used to whole everything down, in any case it lasted only one trip.But the material looked way more durable,Might need some other way to hold it down.

Terrible. When we set it up days before or trip one of the straps tore away from the carrier, the strap seems to have been previously repaired because it had a patch. First time we used it was the night of March 12 2029, it tore on March 13 during a vacation drive to Florida. Luckily some one flagged me down while driving through Kentucky. We are on our way to Florida for March break. Please refund my money. I need to purchase another one for my trip home. I submitted one star only because I had to. This deserves 0
