Makes enough for one or two people
Once you get the hang of this it's very easy to use. I keep the bass in the freezer so it's always ready to go. It makes enough for two people to have a small serving or one person to have enough that it kind of freezes the top of your mouth in the back of your throat but you don't care because it's so good! I happen to be vegan and what I found is the vegan pre-sweetened creamer (specifically the silk sweet and creamy almond creamer) makes an excellent ice cream base. I did start making up my own bases from vegan milk and played around using artificial sweetener and other things. But one day I was kind of lazy and thought why not try the coffee creamer? And it is a perfect base. I usually use it maybe tossing some coconut or tossing some nuts or maybe cocoa powder or whatever. But if you're vegan and you don't want to have to keep paying ridiculous prices for vegan ice cream, this might be the way to go. Especially if you can stock up on the creamer when it's buy one get one!

Easy and fun to use!
I bought this on a whim because I wanted to enjoy making matcha ice cream with my significant other. Once you freeze the bowl for a sufficient time span, it works great! The mixer uses a usb-c charger and the instructions are very clear. We also enjoyed the suggested recipes, especially the one for cinnamon ice cream. The parts are easy to clean and it continues to work reliably. Only downside is that it may take up additional space in your freezer if you want it to be ready to go at any time. I consider this to be a good value as it doesn't require additional ice. Im also impressed with how well the mixing bowl retains its temperature.

Doesn't work--piece of junk!
I tried to use this three times, following the directions exactly, but never could get it to work correctly. The first time it just stopped. The ice cream was almost made and tasted OK so I figured I'd try again. The next time it froze up completely even though I put the ingredients in and started the motor immediately as described. The last time I couldn't get the motor to come on at all. I even plugged the USB in and it still wouldn't come on. Forget it. I expect better performance from my kitchen gear. Really a piece of junk. Returning.

Only if you like soft serve
Let me start by saying for the price point, it's not bad for an ice cream maker, especially when you can control what's going in your ice cream. That said, you have to be a fan of soft serve ice cream to like this machine because that's the consistency you'll get. I have found that by making smaller batches helps to get the consistency a little more like a stiffer soft serve, but it's not like ice cream you get from the store. The texture I was hoping for is a firm but smooth consistency you get when you first open a container of ice cream from the store. Unfortunately, you don't get that with this. the good thing is, because it's soft serve, I'm able to dip my fries like a frosty which is super tasty.

Love it
Took me a lil bit to figure this one out .But it works very well .Make sure your machine is fully charged before using.Make sure your ice cream batter is coldand ice cream maker bowl is frozen for Atleast 12 hours.Do not, I repeat.. do not fill it all the way to the top.Only fill it half way.Once done immediately add it to your container and put in freezer. It works well everytime. This is perfect for 1-2 people. It Makes about a small 14oz tub of icecreamEasy to store, clean, and doesn’t take up a lot of space in the freezer.

Quiet but some annoying flaws
This sometimes makes ice cream. More often than not I find that it mostly makes a mess. The first huge flaw is the lack of an opening to pour in the liquid or drop in mix-ins toward the end of the cycle.the second major problem is that hitting the "sweet spot" for temperatures is almost impossible. Removing the mix from the refrigerator and putting it in the tub and starting it usually ends with it frozen to the sides so the machine can't turn. Let either or both sit for five minutes before beginning leads to something that doesn't freeze.Third is the difficulty getting the ice cream out. With a tub that only handles at most a cup and a half, having most of it stuck to beaters is incredibly annoying, and then the rest has to be scraped off the sides of the tub. A used credit card is good for that because metal scratches and silicon isn't strong enough. The three good batches were fine, but it is so annoying that I find I never use it and end up with it obstructing the freezer so I can have ice cream "just in case." Obviously, others have had better experiences, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Quick and simple
The BRIOLITE ice cream maker is perfect for 1-2 people and for small portions. If you want to make ice cream for a larger family you will have to plan ahead because the freezer vessel is small, and it should be in the freezer for at least 12 hours. I find it perfect for 2 people. It charges quickly and even though the paddle is plastic, it does a very good job mixing the ingredients. You can hear it working but it isn't loud. I use 2% milk or soy milk so the results are soft serve which I really like. It is a lot like sherbet. If you want thick, creamy ice cream, then you need to use whole milk and/or heavy cream. I made simple vanilla ice cream, mint chocolate chip, and chocolate ice cream, all soft serve, and I enjoyed all of them. I found that after mixing the ingredients in a measuring cup, leaving that in the freezer for about 30 minutes helps make the final product stiffer. I'm still adjusting measurements and ingredients, but so far this has not failed to make a great dessert. One thing that would make this better is it included another freezer vessel. If I could find another vessel I would always have 2 ready to go from the freezer.
