Update, after inspecting everything the fruit inserts one of them have 2 cracks on them.It would be nice if the Amazon driver would not block the screen door from me opening it. I had to push it slowly so I didn’t knock it over and possibly breaking my order. And yes it is glass.Just what I ordered!I can’t wait to use them for a family gathering! They could have included some chalk.

I’ve been looking for a glass jar for drinks for a whileAnd having something my youngest can help himself to. After having to send it back becasue it was shattered before even opening it I got It up and running. Instructions were vague as there was none for the metal spigot I wanted to use. The instructions only showed how to use the plastic one. I did have one leak but I only needed to tighten. The lids are hard to get in and off. I haven’t used the holder yet as it just sits in my fridge nor have I use the plastic infuser that you can make your homemade lemonades with first or even tea but was excited to see that it can be done. They are cute and elegant.

I've had several cold brew coffee makers with stainless steel inserts, another one that stirred the coffee every thirty seconds or so, and ones that use paper filters. This one brews similar to my mason jar ones with a stainless steel insert but I used a cold brew bag (like a tea bag) for this one due to the size. This is by far my favorite way. My favorite store bought cold brew is Stok green label and purple label. The closest recipe I've found to these is as follows.2 1/3 cups of pre ground Peet's Great Heights. I normally have to buy whole beans and then do a coarse grind when using stainless steel inserts or other methods. Using the cold brew bag lets me use a finer ground which gives a better flavor and a shorter brew time. Put the coffee grinds in the bag, wet the coffee somewhat before tying the bag shut, and then drop it into the jar. Fill the jar with water until 1" from the top and let it sit in the fridge for 24 hours. After 24 hours remove the bag and squeeze it to get the concentrated coffee from the grinds, and then add more water to the jar until the jar is filled to within 1/2" of the top. So dang good. I love my coffee, I love this dispenser, and I'm saving gobs of money.

Cannot remove the tin lids. Heated the metal with very hot water to expand the metal. Two big strong men cannot remove the lids. I'll be returning. Sticky I guess because I cannot open them to clean the lemonade.

I was really excited to use this set for when we have friends and family over for barbecues. When I started taking a look at the components and putting them together, I found that the set has some issues. The jars are sturdy, made of pretty thick glass. The glass does have some imperfections - you can clearly see the glass mold lines on either side, the top wasn’t sized quite right to fit the metal lid (tough to screw on, and won’t fully tighten). Both the plastic and metal spigots work fine, but the plastic one interferes with the strainer insert so that it doesn’t seat right and the lid won’t close. The strainer insert is sturdy plastic; there is no mention whether it is BPA-free or even food safe? The stand is sturdy metal, and stands straight (no rocking on a flat surface). However, it’s got a join on the bottom that was not smoothed out, leaving a sharp edge that can scratch your table or table covering (and that join is not powder-coated like the rest of the stand). The hanging signs are super-light balsa wood that is painted (not chalkboard) with thin twine to hang with - feels like they will blow off with the first wind.With a few improvements, this could be a really nice entertaining beverage set.

These include two spigot choices: plastic and metal. Assembly was straightforward, and washing easy given the wide mouth. I did make one mistake, and that was sealing the lid tightly, which took a gasket wrench to break free. I think the vacuum of people using the dispenser pulled the lid even tighter.

We love these. They look rustic, but not junky or shabby. They work well and the wide mouth lids are great for after-party clean up. We're considering getting more, honestly.
