The convenient packets hold the right amount of powder for an arrangement. The power dissolves immediately and is clear so that a display in a glass vase is not affected. It works well. I snip off the ends if the stems and replace the mixture daily. As a result, an arrangement lasts 5-6 days.

How often do you buy fresh flowers? Well this is good for the next 50 times. If I buy flowers once a month it takes me 4 years out + ... good value, and it's always nice to have these.

I love these little packets. They have a slit for ease of of opening, and each packet is for 2 cps of water, a good amount for one regular size floral arrangement, so there is little waste. It is important to dilute it in the right amount of water. It is also “marked “ universal” so it is safe for all kinds of flowers. I change the water and cut the stems every two to three days, and use a new packet with fresh water, Once i started using them, i noticed my flowers were lasting much longer then they used to without the packet. We buy the inexpensive local supermarket bouquets, which are not the freshest, and they can last up to two weeks, some even longer depending on the kind of flower. The lilies in this picture are going on their second week and these flowers were the buds that were closed when we first bought the bouquet, They opened up nicely, and smelled wonderful. I enjoy removing the dying flowers from the bouque and rearranging them, so that they take on a new appearance each time I refresh and feed them. These packets are not expensive and well worth it if you like to have fresh flowers in your house.
