Easier set up than older model
We needed to add new cameras to our security cameras and we had an older model. These are higher resolution and easier to set up than the older cameras, but they work on the same app, so we just hung them and added them and now our security camera set up is 7 cameras instead of 3.

Decent Budget Camera, Works with Blue Iris
I have a fairly elaborate home surveillance system built around Blue Iris. While this camera works fine with the included app, my interest was raised by the vendor mentioning its ONVIF compatibility. That opens the door to integration into my system and others like it.While there’s no web-based setup, the app worked well enough for configuration. As promised, it even had ONVIF settings--awesome and relatively rare for a camera in this price range. Most of my cameras cost 10x as much as this one, but I had a few corners of my property that I wanted to cover without needing an expensive camera. This fit the bill perfectly.Installation was easy but threw me for a loop. This camera is powered by USB-C, with no other power input options or screw terminals. That’s fine for a budget camera but not easy to use with a more capable ONVIF-based setup. I purchased a 12V to USB adapter, which solved the problem. Once powered, I connected to WiFi and was pleasantly reminded that this camera supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi, which is great.Once added to my network, Blue Iris was able to discover and add it. The picture is clear when still, but there’s a lot of compression with any movement--especially at night. The night mode worked well, with a clear black-and-white feed that turns to color when the camera detects motion and turns on its lights. However, I don’t think you’d see facial details at night unless the person is really close--there’s just too much compression with any movement. Daytime performance is better.Blue Iris was able to control the PTZ function smoothly, and the camera also has a built-in auto-tracking feature. I was disappointed that it didn’t support presets, which adds infinite possibilities to PTZ systems. I also didn’t like that the time watermark can’t be turned off, as my system adds the time as well. This camera is a great budget option for either standalone use or integration with a more elaborate system. Just remember, there’s no 12V power option, so you’ll need to figure something out. If you want to power it with the included USB power adapter, that works fine too. Not a bad choice on a budget.

I really like this
high-resolution outdoor security camera designed for comprehensive home protection. It supports both 5G and 2.4G WiFi, ensuring a stable connection. The camera’s 360° PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) capability allows for wide-area coverage, minimizing blind spots. With 5MP clarity, the camera captures sharp, detailed footage, enhancing your security. The two-way talk feature enables real-time communication, making it useful for interacting with visitors or deterring intruders. Auto-tracking and motion and noise alerts keep you informed of any unusual activity, while the IP66 rating ensures durability against weather elements. This camera is an excellent choice for those seeking advanced, reliable outdoor security.

App say camera doesn't support 5Ghz WiFi
I'm quite disappointed with this security camera. I have experience setting up other cameras but this one was the most difficult. The app (CloudEdge) requires you to first grant several permissions, including access to mobile data and WiFi. Those permission options were not even available on my phone. But I continued the set up anyway. The first several attempts got stuck looking for my router. I moced closer to the router andI started the set up over again. This time it found my router's WiFi but said 5Ghz was not supported (see picture). That was one of the reasons I got this camera.I selected the 2Ghz WiFi and it did connect. So, it does work, but only on my 2.4Ghz WiFi.I was going to give the company some feedback on my set up experience but there were just too many questions about the device, the router, etc. that I gave up. Too much of a hassle just to ask about the 5Ghz and the permissions.I did not install a micro SD card, but was planning to. I found it interesting that you must first format the card on a computer before you can install it in the camera. Really? My other cameras let me format the card while it is in the camera. There are some features in the app that are okay and typical {f a security camera app, including the alerts and the ability to set a zone area for triggering the alerts. The app also lets you flip the image if you need to mount the camera upside down kit defaults to being ceiling mounted). The image was decent enough and it does support PTZ. This camera comes with the power adapter, but if you need longer than the provided cable it is recommended to use an extension cord and to plug the power adapter into the extension (they say for best performance). The cable provided is basically and USB to USB-C cable. It connects to the camera via a weather tight connector. Seems like it will withstand the weather ok. It also comes withounting hardware and a mounting template.I gave this outdoor security camera 2 stars because of the trouble I had with setting it up, no 5Ghz support as advertised, and the hoops you must jump through to contact the vendor through the app.

Decent enough camera
This security camera is pretty good. I wish it had PoE support, and it honestly feels pretty cheap, but it works just fine and it also supports Onvif (which is a major plus in my opinion). Unfortunately I couldn't get it online and working without the use of their app (which I was not impressed with), but after adding it through that I was able to get it migrated over to my Frigate installation.

Easy setup, great quality
I always had the app installed, so setup on this literally took less than 60 seconds. Installing the app would have added a minute or two. Once configured, the camera worked exactly as expected. I was pleasantly surprised at the picture quality.
