Worked a treat
Bit confused initially why it had a USB power cable but was well having plugged it all in, switched source on the telly, and bish, bosh, bash... it worked... a treatGood price for connecting old gear to new gear

Not what I needed
Unfortunately this cable did not work on our DVD player to our new TV, we need the SCART to HDMI through a converter, check your appliance can be used through HDMI without a converter before buying

Ok but not great quality
Bought this to connect old DVD player to new smart TV that has no SCART socket. This does the job but is pretty flimsy, lead length only1m so check distance between device sockets!It also needs a power source and comes with a USB connection cable (shown in yellow on photo) luckily our TV has 2 close to HDMI sockets. Red shows SCART connection cable, we had to put it in bottom socket to have enough room for power cable.

Poor picture quality
It works but the picture quality is poor. Dark & with noticeable interference. & fuzziness. Not even close to DVD quality. In fact not even as good as old skool VHS video quality.Not really good enough even at this price.
