Seriously, these barn doors are awesome!! The hardware is very well-made, and it works great!We have used these for closet doors and are planning on mounting this one with a big mirror. I even saw one of these inside hotel used with the picture in front of it to cover up a security panel.There are just so many places that this could be used. It looks great! It dresses up the room well, and is very convenient.This product is described well and works exactly as they advertised it. Not only does the door slide effortlessly, but aesthetically it is amazing.Seriously, this thing is made very well!Disclaimer-My review is part of the Vine program on Amazon. I have had barn door kits before where the rail comes in 18" pieces, purely because the seller is trying to save money on shipping costs by having a smaller package.Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product. This was a full set of all you need to add to a door to make a barn door. It comes with the top bar, the rollers and mounts for the top, the bottom guiding rollers for the floor/wall, and the handles to use to slide it with. I chose to replace the handles because they were smaller than I wanted but that was my preference. The handles are like holes that are lined with metal not sticking out handles. That allows the door to smoothly open and close with no risk of hitting the wall or frame. The top bar comes in several pieces so you can use what you need to to make it as long as you need for your door. We were able to leave one of the pieces out because our door was not as wide as some doors. There may be different sizes so check your door frame and make sure you have twice that much to play with. I recommend it!

This TITECK 8 FT Double Barn Door Kit is a basic kit. Though it is fine for a door that does not get opened and closed a lot, I would not recommend it for a high use area. The lower guide is just a little T-shaped piece of plastic that runs through the center of the door (you will need to cut a 1/4" wide grove, with a circular saw, perfectly down the center of the bottom edge of the door. This needs to be smooth, so the guide does not scrape or catch)Though it appears that the plastic rollers have bearings, the do not spin freely. But, they do move smoothly and quietly along the track.The track comes in two pieces at 96" (8ft) total length. Strangely though, when measure from the center hole, one track piece is 48 1/2", and the other is 47 1/2". That means that the track is 1" off center. I think that when they were manufacturing it, that to compensate for the overlap of the two pieces and keep the 96" length, they added, or removed, 1/2" from the wrong track piece. You don't really notice it, but I suggest that when installing, that you take that into account, and measure from the center out for your mounting points. I hope that they fix that mistake, and maybe they already have, so double check with what you get.

Has easy to follow manual, made a couple of holes and put the bar together, tightened the bolts and hanged my door, took close to an hour.

This barn door hardware kit was everything I could've asked for. The rail arrived in 3 long pieces for the 10 ft span. Although we had to make some modifications for our unique space, it installed easily. The doors move about smoothly and quietly and our family room is now an enclosable private space for overnight guests.

This is a great barn door kit, made with heavy duty metal to support your custom door. I acquired this kit to replace my wife's closet door, and she absolutely loves the kit. This elevated our bedroom look tremendously.
