ABOUT THE BRAND JOPASU:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxTo be honest , from the phonetics of the name “Jopasu” I used to think that it must be some Japanese brand but later it was quite surprising yet pleasant to learn that it’s a native brand- based at Pune , India established in 1996 that has been the source of this literally world class & remarkable auto care product.The word “Jopasu” has been derived from the Sanskrit word “Jopasana” that means “to care or “nurture” which is probably the best “one word” to describe what its auto care products are meant for & actually deliver.They have their own high end testing labs & with Advanced manufacturing facilities and Textile innovations they are rightfully moving to become an admired brand of repute in the auto care sector in india.ABOUT THE PURCHASE & PRODUCT:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxJopasu is not a new name to me ,I first came to know about this brand in a Team BHP forum discussion & have been a regular customer of their products especially their car dusters since 2013.Impressed with its performance & ease of use ,many of my friends too have been using it ever since.As of now, this is my 6th Jopasu duster that I have bought for my Skoda rapid after a gap of almost two years. Reason being I rejuvenated all my previous dusters using their rejuvenator sprays which made it work as good as new only it didn’t look new, even though still going strong & sturdy after 2 years of service.Just bought up a new one, to check upon for any quality degradation if there was any,as was pointed out in some review by a fellow amazon reviewer.HOW DO THESE DUSTERS WORK?xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxThe key to the cleaning abilities of these dusters is the inclusion of the fine specially formulated wax which is used to impregnate the soft cotton strands that works to bind as well as soften the strands of cotton. The wax impregnation of the strands develops a static charge upon rubbing with any surface which causes the superficial dust to get attracted to the strands and lifted up.Further the soft wax coating over the cotton strands helps to prevent any scratch marks over the paintwork of your car.Coming to the product, As already stated – being a traditional customer of their dusters since 2013, I suppose I am well qualified to comment upon all the key aspects of the product past vs present.1.) PACKING & CONTENTS:**************************************This time I chose to go for the combo pack of dusters including a mini duster for interior dusting along with the regular one.Both the dusters came well-packed in their separate sturdy duster covers which are theoretically meant to hold the dusters after every cleaning…practically ….its just not possible.Anyways the packing was good as usual with the exactly the same looking duster covers as few years back.2.) LOOKS, DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT:*********************************************************Going by the looks both the regular sized & the mini dusters – Both look the same as few years back-Simple, Elegant yet Stylish. With its cream colored feather soft wax-impregnated cotton strands & sturdy black PVC rods it offers a great mix of Quality & durability.As for the Dimensions the regular sized duster fares at 27 “ inches with the rod included of which 15”x4.5” inches is the length x width of the part with cotton strands. The strands itself are around 3”inches long with sufficient density to wipe out clean.The mini duster fares at approximately 7 inches by 5 inches to slide in any palm size comfortably.Dimension wise, I could see no change in the newer vs older version.As for the weight, I must say there is a pronounced difference between the older gen. regular dusters vs the newer dusters.The older one dating to 2016 perhaps seems to have more density of cotton strands which is somewhat uncomfortable to hold or use single handedly. In contrast ,I found the newer one to be lighter & comfortable thereby maintain upon the cleaning abilities.3.) PRICE ,PERFORMANCE & DURABILITY:**************************************************************I had always purchased the regular duster for a price in the vicinity of 750 bucks.This time I went for the combo which cost me 1038 bucks which I suppose is reasonable for the value addition it offers to your vehicle’s aesthetics on a daily basis.Performance & Durability:++++++++++++++++++++++++The only other car duster that I have heard too much of, is the California car duster but then I particularly dislike its red colored strands & am unsure of its actual performance whereas the jopasu one is tried and tested, hands-on.The jopasu dusters do not dislodge dust from here to there like most others but instead pick up the dust & render your car clean within minutes. Its long handle ensures maximum reach of the duster.No wax marks or scratches .I even use it to clear dusty windshields in a flash while driving over highways.The cream colored strands do get dirty over course of time but that’s nothing to worry just jerk hard the duster to remove dust & it keeps working.The dust picking ability of the new brush roughly lasts for an year depending upon usage frequency & dirt over which its used. I use it almost twice a day over my car for cleaning superficial dust & it has almost lasted an year every time.As for the mechanical durability, Trust me- No worries absolutely .Both the mini & regular dusters last a lifetime unless you really use it to beat the bushes.DO’s & DONT’s:*************************This is probably the most important section to take care of:1.) Do not panic if it gets dirty grey during course of use.2.) Do not try to wash it unless it really really dirty & its cleaning ability is affected.3.) Always use it for superficial dust.Do not use it to clean wet/wet & muddy surfaces of car as it would cause damage to the strands, making them too dirty & may also create wax marks over surfaces.4.) In case you decide to wash it, try to just dip it & wringle in cold water ,at most with a very mild detergent. Warm water or harsh detergents will remove the wax coating over the strands rendering the duster of no use.5.) After the wash, do not dry it in direct sunlight, dry in shade with air as the former would again ruin the wax impregnation.6.) You can also opt to buy their duster rejuvenator sprays in case you feel the dust picking ability has lowered.FINAL VERDICT:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFrom my proven hands-on experience of multiple car dusters, all I can say is that in my view Jopasu car dusters offer a great value for money , Excellent quality & durability with an unmatched ease of de-dusting your vehicle in a matter of just few minutes.

Excellent product! Dusting made simple. I would prefer bike just because of dusting before the drive but now this brush made it quite simple. Removing dust with ease. Just go for it.

I heard about this brand from my friend and was mighty impressed when he used his Jopasu duster (whose threads were almost blackened) to make my car clean and shiny. I tried to order from Company's website but found it economical to buy from Amazon and I got this combo at almost 120 Rs lesser cost on Amazon. I was planning to buy Rejuvenator Spray also but Amazon wasn't delivering it to my location in remote interior on Konkan region.Delivery speed was decent but the packing was not as per expectation. It was wrapped in industry grade transparent plastic sheet only without specific name or QR code over it.2-3 threads fell off with first use and this was probably due to poor storage or an older product. Couldn't find date of manufacturing on duster with handle.Performancebof duster was upto the mark and I am satisfied about it.Initially I was considering Juggernaut Jopasu Duster which comes with Wooden handle. But due to high humidity in my region I chose the one with plastic handle.One suggestion for use : Use it with light hand, Do not force or rub intensely. Even gentle pressure gives very good result and the threads last longer.I would be interested in exploring their other car care products especially comprehensive care they offer in their workshop at Pune. Yes, it is Pune,Maharashtra based Company doing very good work. We must get vocal for this international quality local.PS: For few people the cost of products may appear higher upfront but I am sure in long run it will prove to be appropriate.
