I am extremely impressed with Lattafa The Kingdom. If you love warm, sweet, and aromatic scents with a darker twist, this is a spectacular blind buy for the price. It heavily captures that cozy Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Elixir vibe but dials back the heavy sweetness just enough to make it a bit smoother and more versatile.The opening kicks off with a really nice, clean blend of lavender and sage mixed with a subtle, fresh spearmint note. It gives it a very pleasant, slightly powdery freshness right away. But the real magic happens in the dry down—the mint settles, and you get this beautiful, rich combination of sweet vanilla, warm tonka bean, and a very smooth, earthy hint of tobacco. It smells incredibly masculine, rich, and expensive.The performance on this is outstanding. I easily get 7 to 8 hours of longevity on my skin, and it lasts into the next day if it gets on your clothes. The sillage is strong for the first couple of hours, forming a great scent bubble without being cloying. For an EDP under $30, the bottle presentation is gorgeous and the juice quality is top-tier. Easily a new favorite for fall, winter, and date nights!

This is very masculine and high quality fragrance. It has great projection and longevity. For the price it is a steal!

I’ve tried JPG Elixir, and I like it very much, but I didn’t want to drop $150 on another 3.3oz bottle, so I got this to scratch that itch of needing a tobacco/vanilla scent. It opens fresher than Elixir, with the mint, and very sweet. I almost thought, maybe I didn’t like it, or it was too young on the opening, but after about 5 minutes it dries down to vanilla/tobacco/woody notes that’s about a 90% match to elixir. Elixir is more complex, whereas this is more a straight forward 3 note scent. This will definitely be getting some use in fall/winter. Projection is strong and trails, lasts about 6 hours.

Got to admit, this smells pretty good. Similar to JPG elixir, but sweeter. Super strong and lasts all day. Definitely worth the price if your looking for similar DNA. Vanilla cream, honey type smell.

Smells very similar to the JPG Le Male Elixir, but more sweetness. Very warm scent that projects solidly for the price. The bottle is appealing and matches the vibe that the scent brings.

In my opinion, this is the best interpretation of Le Male Elixir in this price range. It captures that same warm, sweet, slightly spicy profile with a strong vanilla base. It is not identical, but the overall scent direction is very close and easy to recognize. What makes it stand out is the value. It is one of the cheapest options in this style, yet it still feels well blended and pleasant to wear. The scent develops nicely on skin and stays smooth from opening to dry down. The bottle is also very well done. It looks premium and adds to the overall experience. Performance is solid, with good longevity and noticeable projection, especially in the first hours.

I love the smell of Cuba Gold and was hoping for something with better longevity to wear for work. This is not a direct match, but it is in the same ballpark, and I'm quite happy with it. Vanilla, Tobacco, from "freshness," really nice. I do find Cuba Gold to be a little more refreshing or invigorating while this leans toward mellow. I also found that more than one spray, while the smell doesn't become unpleasant to me, begins to feel suffocating. I'm going to try applying it to my clothes further from my nose so I'm getting a little less strength. But I'm pleased, because I do like it, and it does have good longevity. The bottle is not my style and would have turned me off, but I knew I wanted to try the fragrance. It is cool, thought if that's your style. Nice cap, snug fit, and a really nice box, worthy of display if that's your thing.

Even though this scent vanilla heavy I am not sure if I want to say it’s masculine slightly unisex. Very effective and versatile but better in the colder climates because it’s heavy

The Kingdom is a very close version of JPG Le Male Elixir, it is absolutely stunning in my opinion, and the best part is the opening and the first hour on skin. It opens up with some sparkling minty notes with aromatic lavender. The spirit of the original Le Male from the 1990s is still recognizable, but re-done in a much more modern and sophisticated way. After the first couple of hours, it sits on skin with smooth notes of honey and resins. The dry down is very inviting, it's got the right amount of sweetness, and it's not overpowering in any way. I think this fragrance does justice to the original, with a much more affordable price tag, I have no idea how they do it!. I own a couple of other Lattafa fragrances, and The Kingdom is the best one by far. Pros: -Smells almost 100% like the original in which takes inspiration from. -Versatility is very high: can be worn as a signature fragrance, for special occasions, romantic dates, school or work environment. -Seasons: I'd say you can easily wear it all-year round. -Very economical, yet Tremendous value for the money. -The aroma is intoxicating, it will get you an insane amount of compliments. -Age range: Men of any age can pull this up, from high school kids to mature men. I'm 49 and I don't feel this fragrance is too juvenile for me. I'm planning to wear it very often, in fact. Cons: -If you're looking for a room filler, perhaps this is not the one for you. The Kingdom will get you noticed, but it's not a beast mode fragrance. -If you don't enjoy sweet fragrances, maybe you should look elsewhere. -I can't think of any other cons, honestly.
