While I was making a purchase for this, I couldn't get my hands on any relevant information so I decided to answer some questions that I had before ordering.Q. Does it require internet?A. No, it doesn't. It works without the internet and there's also no option to connect an app to view or anything like that.Q. Is it a touch screen?A. No, it's not. It has touch buttons which do the job for me.Q. Which wire is needed to connect?A. You need a CAT-6 cable to connect it. For one connection, it uses 4 out of 8 wires of CAT-6. CAT-6 is what you use to connect your laptop to a router, a "LAN-cable" as we say.Q. Who many outdoor units can be connected to?A. You can connect up to 2 outdoor units to your one indoor. Only one outdoor unit comes in the package, a second will need to buy separately.Q. Is it video or photo, does it have storage & can you store anything?A. Okay, so it is very simple. It has video and you can use it to call from indoor to outdoor too, or to check video anytime you want. It doesn't allow you to save anything.Q. How many options it has?A. You can view the camera, answer a call from your visitor (as in enabling speakers/mic), open a door (if you have a Godrej electric door) & apart from that basic volume and brightness control.Q. Is it AC or DC?A. Both.Q. Does the outdoor unit need electricity connection?A. Fortunately, no! Only indoor unit needs powers (AC or DC) and the outdoor unit gets it from the connection.Q. Can you get Godrej to help with the connection?A. You can but I did it myself. I did call them to ask what type of wire is needed and such, and they told me I can get it installed for free.

I have a default builder provided bell and had been there for few years and after using that, I switched to this brand new Godrej video door bell.First impression before buying :1. HW looked slightly small in size so wasn't sure if it would be helpful.2. Also overall rating wasn't 4+ start on Amazon for this product. So was not sure how it would goBut I ordered it as online price was almost 60% to what I was getting in the electronic showroom.After buying :- Got the delivery faster than expected. Full marks there.- Simple and non offensive design.- Free Installation. Make sure you keep the invoice with you as installing guy will ask for that and without it, installation charge may be Rs. 800+- When it installed and demo'ed, I was very happy to see the quality of picture, angular fitting, good looking HW.- Microphone and speaker audio - GREAT!!!!!Caution : Make sure you switch off the display as once you talk to person outside door and if do not switch of display, your voice will continue to heard outside. Microphones are very powerful to capture voice from distance.I am really happy for this product till date. Its very good product at this price range. Go for it!

First of all you have to pay for the wiring. In addition, visiting and servicing charges from Godrej are 1200/-. The product description clearly states that the installation is free. Their excuse is that this is not an authorised seller. Amazon should do something about this.

Awesome product. Installation happened same day. Engineer came in 5 hrs post calling call centre. Engineer did his best job and was free installation. Gave a good demo.Picture quality is good. Ring is loud and clear.Visitor voice is bit low as one has to come near the door bell to speak. Rest all is good and as expected in a basic video door Phone.

Lateral coverage of the camera should be wider.

Excellent product and works flawlessly. !Screen size is 4.3 inch which for some might be a bit small but does the job well.Doorbell camera clarity is excellent and and has night vision also.You can see the person at the door, unlock your door and communicate with the person outside.Outdoor bell unit is waterproof !!Installation process is a breeze, simply call Godrej customer care on toll free number and they will come and install it within 2-3 days.Wiring was charged extra by the installation person 300-500 rupees depending on the length of the wire used.

Very good quality speaker, voice clarity, but limited vision. Have placed outdoor unit on door panel but it does not give view of the entire lift lobby, you will see only if someone is standing right outside your door in front of the camera. No recording, so cannot check any previous data in case you missed attending to the doorbell
