Delta Faucet Lenta Single-Handle Kitchen Sink Faucet with Pull Down Sprayer and Magnetic Docking Spray Head, SpotShield Stainless 19802Z-SP-DST

I converted my 60/40 split kitchen sink to a 36 inch workstation sink and absolutely love how it turned out. I’ve been saving a long time to refresh my sink in lieu of doing an entire kitchen remodel and was going for a unique, modern design to update my kitchen. I have a 36 in side cabinet that my contractor cut the side to allow the workstation sink to fit. We added the appropriate bracing under the sink at the cabinets walls, creating a “shelf “ for the sink to rest on. We also had a fabricator cut a larger opening into the existing granite countertop to receive the new sink. While the sink is kicked over by 1/2 -3/4 inch to the left, it had to be installed this way since that’s where I had space. My contractor met the needs of the project and did a fantastic job. My sink refresh consisted of the following products: Serene Valley Workstation Kitchen Sink, 36-inch Thick-Deck Dual Mount, DDWG3622R; Fonveth Contemporary Design Kitchen Sink Countertop Soap Dispenser Pump Matte Black, Delta Faucet Lenta Matte Black Kitchen Faucet Touch Matte Black 19802TZ-BL-DST , Insinkerator Instant Hot Water 0.66 gal dispenser, Insinkerator Indulge Modern Series 1-Handle 9.25 in. Faucet for Instant Hot Water Dispenser in Matte Black, KANARY Garbage Disposal Air Switch Button for Counter Top (Square ,Matte Black), and Insinkerator Badger 900 ¾ HP garbage disposal. I didn’t take a picture of my base cabinet inside, but I added a trash can pull-out Rev-A-Shelf Single 32 Quart Reduced Depth Bottom Mount Waste Container (11595468), a foot pedal to open the cabinet door without my hands ENVI Kick Hands-Free Door Opening Foot Pedal (11520333), and a Never MT soap dispenser conversion kit which saves me from having to fill the little soap dispenser bottle all the time. The window shade is VENETA Designer Room Darkening Roller Shades in Villa Midnight. The Serene Valley Workstation Sink has a low 50/50 divider and each basin is large enough for big pots to sit flat in the basin to wash. The sink came with a cutting board which slides across the workstation left to right, as well as sink grids. Next, I found the Fonveth Contemporary Design Kitchen Sink Countertop Soap Dispenser Pump Matte Black as well as the KANARY Garbage Disposal Air Switch Button for Counter Top (Square ,Matte Black). Both are square shaped in Matte Black and complete my modern design. For my faucet, the Delta Faucet Lenta Matte Black Kitchen Faucet Touch Matte Black 19802TZ-BL-DST is really cool. All I have to do when I have messy hands is tap the faucet for it to turn on or off. The only thing that I have to get used to is the faucet turning on when I accidentally bump it when cleaning. I found that if I place a hand on the faucet and use my other hand to clean, it “grounds” the faucet from turning on if I accidentally bump it. I didn’t buy the AC adapter for the faucet and have easy access to changing its batteries if I need to. I love the Instant Hot Water Dispenser and Insinkerator faucet. I can’t believe I went without one for so long. I can’t say enough about the hidden pleasures in the trash can pull out, the hands-free opening foot pedal and the Never MT soap dispenser conversion kit. These items are relatively affordable if you’re looking to add some convenience and ease to your kitchen set up.

This is a beautiful faucet and works as advertised. We have had a Delta touch faucet previously and multiple Delta faucets over the years, have always been happy with the quality, durability and functionality. Installing a new faucet is never a fun task but this went as well as could be expected with very detailed instructions and every possible part you could need. There are three options for spray and I love the new Shieldspray sphere. Pulling the sprayer nozzle out is easy and the magnet pulls it back in tight. It is nice to be able to grab the sprayer end (which is not touch activated), position, and then tap the body of the faucet to fill a pitcher or coffee pot reservoir. With a previous faucet we found the batteries last a long time, but when they die the faucet dies and will not work until the batteries are replaced....guessing that would be the case with this faucet as well. We opted to buy an AC adapter which will quickly pay for its self, batteries are now just a backup in case of power failure. Touch faucets can be very expensive this one was very reasonably priced, excellent value. Very pleased with this purchase.

High end faucet, with a modern champagne finish. This similar to a brushed nickel finish in texture, and looks beautiful. The touch to turn on or off function takes some getting used to as you forget it’s there, and either don’t use it or accidentally touch the metal after turning it on. The weird design choice is the battery pack, which is what comes with the device, 8 AA batteries included, but an additional $40 power adapter that needs to be purchased separately. Once you have the adapter you then think you don’t need batteries, WRONG! The batteries power the LED indicating water temperature, while the power adapter powers the mechanical valves. A minor issue, especially if using both the batteries should last a long time (years?) since they only power the LED. Overall happy with the install, pretty standard if you have installed faucets before.

We've had this faucet installed for a few months now and really love it. In addition to a standard water flow and a standard spray pattern, the faucet also offers a strong single stream spray for loosening whatever is attached to the object you are cleaning. We love the smooth function of the handle. Installation was done professionally, and they reported it was a very simple process. I love Delta products and consider them a good balance between price and quality. The surface is spot resistant, which is a nice feature and overall the faucet is durable and well constructed. According to our installer, the internal design is a good one.
