I love this thing. It heats up very quickly. Hot dogs, burgers, kabobs...all good. I haven't tried a rack of baby backs on it, but I think it would require more space in order to do so unless I split the rack in half or grill a smaller rack. Although it is smokeless (or mostly) it did set off the smoke detector which is right outside of the kitchen, although I really didn't notice any real smoke, so I disconnected the smoke detector. I clean it up after each use and it cleans up nicely. I put foil over the bottom drip tray since that becomes more difficult to clean up the baked-on BBQ sauces. The grille cleans up very nicely with a soapy sponge.

Of course this doesn’t replace an outdoor charcoal or even gas grill but for us apartment dwellers, this does an excellent job. Grill marks? Check. Char flavor? Check. Smokeless? Mostly. There are laws of the universe that can’t be changed. Super greasy meats like bacon will smoke after a while due to all the grease heating up in the tray. Keep the tray empty and the unit clean and smoke issues will be minimal.Cast iron grill pan on the stove is Smokey Smokey Smokey! Cooking in oven cuts down on this somewhat. You can’t fill a griddle pan without cooling it so much that you lose gridlines, unless you set the oven to like 500 which = lots of smoke. I can cook probably double at a time on the infrared grill and still get char lines.I wish the grill was cast iron. Some folks are saying they wish the unit itself was hotter, but I think cast iron might solve the problem as cast iron retains heat much better.For $150 though? Sweet deal. Hopefully this concept catches on and higher end units made. I’d love to have an all stainless steel unit, decade warranty, some kind of cover to hold heat, cast iron grill, and switchable griddle plates. I’d pay $500 for that all day.

While the first one I received was not working, I returned it and the replacement came and works great. Very pleased.

This grill is so easy to use and it is super easy to clean with a little soapy water.

Used to cook burgers and steak. No charcoal flavor to food. Easy to clean. Sometimes smokes up kitchen. Will be returning.

So far….. it’s my 2nd day of grilling fish…. I am fully satisfied with this product… easy to clean and easy to use…. Fish came out tender and juicy.

This is not what it seen to be ,not a indoor smokeless grill. When I try this indoors my smoke Det came on 4 times i had to turn the grill off and take it out side .

I like the idea that I don't have to pull out the grill from garage for just two people. Can use the grill on my counter every night without any hassle.
