Maxcon Voltage Converter 220 To 110V (50 Watt) Step Down

● The converter is quite heavy for its size; its because it has a step-down transformer built into it ● It has got a two pin plug to connect to the power source and it accepts two pin plugs of the appliance. It accepts USA, UK and Indian plugs ● If the socket that the converter is plugged in is loose for this, there are chances that the converter may fall loose of it due to its own weight ● The rated wattage is 50 watt; so you cannot use any devices that consumes more evergy than this ● I have a few appliances like a portable fan, a digital radio, etc. that have its rated voltage as 110 Volt. This converter helps me use all those, which would have been useless otherwise . It is working as intended and I am happy that I found this ● I paid Rs.360 in Feb-16 and I rate FIVE stars ** Update after one year: Apr-17 ** ● The voltage converter is still in use. I plug this in very occassionally when I use the portable fan- once or twice a month. Its working as expected and has not failed ever

Before using:- Initially I was worried reading all the comments & product was getting delayed due to some issues so I had lost all the hope of getting it. But i received it yesterday. It has few scratches on it but I was ok with it & used it on Magic bullet (U.S ) & it worked.Thank you 😊 After using:- It's been 2M i brought it & hardely used it for 2-3 time but when I used it last time it was like pre diwali damaka.Go for the best one & save your appliances.

I bought it for my WAHL clipper which i bought it from US. It works well with it without getting heated after a prolonged use. I have only used it with that clipper and not with any other product hence review is completely based on my use. Build is ok. Only one con - its heavy for a adaptor which is going to be plugged in to a socket, so risk of falling a heavy object is there -be careful with that. Apart does the job and good to go for it if a decent need is there.

The look of the product is not good which gives a wrong impression. It's not shiny with more shiny stickers :-). It's not going to win a beauty contest for sure however it's solid as it can be. It's been plugged in since over a month and not shown any issues whatsoever. I am using it with my original adapter for Panasonic phone that I bought from USA. The product was also delivered a day early.

Does the job however only for a little while. It gets overheated over prolonged continuous use. Don't know if that's normal or an issue with the product. Have two of these and same case with both. Using for elec pest repellants from US which are supposed to be continuously working non-stop. This heating issue makes me switch them off from time to time, defeating the purpose of the imported equipment ultimately.

I used only one time& that time only smoke came out it.it is of no use. I am regretting it now. Due this my product got damaged.

I had doubts before purchasing this device, and then after going through certain reviews I went for it. Using it for more than 20 days now. Works perfectly fine, the product is heavy and the transformer could be seen, covered in black tape, would recommend not to touch it, the device hardly gets heated so no need of poking it, using it for my Cisco ATA and cordless phones imported from USA, till now never faced any issues. Overall I would recommend this device add it really works with electronic gadgets from USA, the seller packed it nicely, to my surprise Amazon delivered it way before the committed deadline.

Build quality good. Used only once with flosser it worked well. Indicator led present. Only con so far is you can't plug and unplug the devices easily, it's really hard.
