Only used it once and it rid me of my ant problem.

I’ve used Doff products many times for my gardening and always found them to be reliable and effective.This is the first time I’ve used their ant powder. I’ve used other ant killer products before with great effect. But, I thought I’d give this a go for a change. No matter what you do ants will always return. The best you can hope for is a hiatus until they come back.This is clearly potent powder as the list of warnings is quite extensive. I don’t have any pets, which is good. Plus I don’t have a fish pond and my greenhouse is some distance from the house where ants sometimes make for. They once even came into the house and were crawling along the washing machine and worktop.Application is easy. It’s a bit like applying Shake ‘n’ Vac or a salt pot but on a larger scale. I didn’t notice any particular odour, but then I didn’t want to get too close.It’s early days and we’ve had no rain to speak of and my ant problem currently is not that great but I have applied the powder to prevent them gaining a foothold.I expect great things. I’m usually averse to killing off creatures but ants are scary and unfriendly.Recommended.

Good product but opening should be wider as not enough powder comes out atonce

We’ve had a number of flying ants nests pop up in our lawn this year, and whilst I'm not overly keen on killing things, I'm getting fed up of running the gauntlet between the house and the rotary airer each time I go to hang the washing out, so thought I'd give this a try.It comes in a large plastic bottle and is the usual powder type product which you sprinkle over the area of the nest.It can be a bit hard to get the powder into small areas as it spills out quite fast, but for larger areas you can spread it out liberally as I did last night as soon as it arrived.I’ve also put a few lines along the thresholds of the house for safe measure.So far so good, I was able to put the washing out today without windmilling my way through a cloud of flying beasties, so it seems to be working.

Not the best, removed cap and whilst squeezing the container to blow out the powder, the amount of powder inside just forced the top off and I ended up with a pile of powder in one place! After replacing the top, the same thing happened a couple more times, each time having to pick the top up from the pile of powder. Definitely needs a better design that keeps the top in place. On a plus side it killed the ants.

This ant powder seemed to do the job when applied around our front door and stopped the ants making their way into the house.

I had run out of ant powder and so had my local supermarket so ordered this.The tube is huge! Way bigger than any of the brands I have had previously.I have a bit of trouble with ants but far more of a problem with wasps that have made a nest in my ceiling. This powder can be dusted nicely into any opening and does seem to be cutting down the wasp population nicely.
