AMERICAN MICRONIC -Stainless Steel Automatic 4-Slice, 2 In 1 Pop-Up Toaster Stainless Steel Body 1600 Watts-TSS2

The best thing I like of the American Micronic 4 slice pop-up toaster which I purchased recently is the sleek stainless steel design which I didn't find in majority of the 4 slices toaster in the market. The main USP of the product is if someone needs just 2 slices toasted it can be done independently of the other 2 slots given. Also, the pop-up function not only pops up well but also one can raise the pop-up handle slightly with hand so that the toasted breads are further raised above the toaster slots for its easy removal without the risk of touching the surface of the toaster. Another important feature which I liked is the extra-wide slots of the toaster which I found convenient for toasting thick slices of bread. Also, the toaster was packed quite sturdy in 2 thick cartons and was delivered without any dents or damage to the product. On the whole, an awesome finish product which happens to be a toaster too!!!

We were looking for a 4 source toaster, and Morphy Richards, Bajaj, Philips came to mind..but they had mixed reviews. My wife like lightly toasted bread, and I want the almost brown toasts..so toasting bread according to custom reqmts is cumbersome... I came across this here in Amazon, hadn't heard of this brand, so did some research. Turns out, they're pretty well placed. The product is well built, good quality all around, does the job proper.... As advertised, the 2 different thermostats bake the bread as you please...just what I wanted.. Easy to clean, easy to notice, it looks damn Sexy... PS - I bought the extemded warranty also, just so that I make sure this lasted atleast 3 yrs.

This is a great toaster, and its best feature is the ability to operate the two sides independently with different settings. For the best results, a setting of 2 is ideal for perfect toast. I suggest not going beyond a setting of 3 to avoid burning your bread, as anything higher than 4 will likely result in a burnt slice.

I did lot of research for 4 slice toasters and zeroed in on this one... As you get option of using only 1 slot among 2 also if required to toast 2 breads instead of 4 at once.... This makes it more energy efficient as compared to those, where this option is not there... Also in its own type, this is cheaper as well as best looking one. The toasts normally I do is on setting 3 or 4... So you can imagine u can go up or down as per yr wish, and it would not dissapoint you at all. Still need to see durability, as its been only 4 days for me to have it.

Horrible quality. The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) on one side of the toaster stopped working in 20 months - just after the 1 yr warranty expired. I paid Rs 350 for a technician visit and he informed me that the PCB replacement would cost Rs 930 !! Further more the replacement PCB did not work either ! I was then asked to to pack the toaster and send it to their Gurgaon office from my home in Mumbai. They arranged pickup through Dehlivery courier but the package after 2 weeks was returned to me because they refused to pay the courier the extra delivery charges he demanded because of the weight of the product !! My suggestion to everyone is not to buy any product of American Micronic - their support for appliances is pathetic and very expensive and non-existent for customers not living in the NCR. In particular, the lady in charge of their customer support is rude, scolds passengers for talking too much (!) and incompetent. All this shows that this is not a professional company. I also think that Amazon should consider blacklisting / de-listing this vendor from their portal so that future customers do not have the same awful customer expereience I had with their product.

This is a good and sturdy toaster with a very good finish. Working very well so far.

Stainless steel finish is great. Toasting is even on entire surface and both sides. Bread tastes better when toasted on this toaster compared to old styled two slice pop up toaster we had before (we donated old one immediately after using this one). After using this new toaster, I also bought 3 more for my relatives. Every one is happy. Although a bit costly, I think it is worth the price. Good investment.

Works well. Although there is a learning curve to it around the toasting level. Sometimes it gets toasted too much and Sometimes too little. But I understand that it depends on how many slices are being done at one time and the quality of bread. Also they should provide a lid for it and and a toasting stand to keep on top of it and reheat the bread (once the butter is applied)
