Its a nice mattress cover. Its soft and makes feeling of mattress very soft too.Cant comment on waterproofing yet.Overall it's good.

Make life easy product

As expected, Amazon Basics offers products with a well balanced quality vs price handle.However, I found that the Amazon brand Solimo offers the same product of identical quality at half the price.I bought one of that too and can't tell the difference.

Even though the material quality was very superior, I was forced to return the product.Cons:1. This is suitable only if your bed is big in height like those found in hotels. Mine was a regular size.2. Once the bedsheet is put on top of this, it constantly feels like plastic material below. It feels like we have a plastic sheet below which keeps on making noises when moving around.3. The cover is too big even after taking proper measurements into account. It keeps on coming out from one end as it feels and acts like a plastic sheet.4. The sound and the feel is of those plastic sheets which we use when putting younger kids to sleep (to avoid bed getting spoiled)In all nice material, bad experience.

Mattress covers I’ve purchase in the past have been crinkly and uncomfortable. This is surprisingly soft with a terry cloth like material. Feels good quality and fits my deep pocket mattress well. Seems to be waterproof but haven’t tested too much. Would purchase again.

The fabric is soft

The media could not be loaded.  I was surprised when I first felt this item because the top has terry cloth terry cloth feel - until I flipped it over. There is vinyl-like lining on the bottom which is what makes the item water proof and now I have high hopes. I purchased a king size for reference and it fits well.

We have pets and wanted to ensure our bed is protected from whatever.It's lightweight, it fits on the bed and doesn't come loose. It doesn't 'crinkle' or sound like some plastic sheet under our regular sheet. You don't know it's there until you need it.Most important... It keeps our mattress CLEAN... Nothing has penetrated it. Not the puppy peeing in our bed. Not the cat throwing up.It's durable: it hasn't ripped or anything. And with cats and a dog, with their nails, that was a concern. However, it's lasted.Easy to wash: I can wipe down for small messes and it's fine, and I can pull off and put in the washer without an issue. Drying on regular is fine too, nothing melted, but, recommend using low.Overall, thankful for having it and keeping our mattress looking 100%.

Easy to wash and stretches well over my mattress. Doesn’t add any bulk.
