Fantastic first book. I love everything about this book and need book 2 already. I love the characters so much

Although it took me a little while to get into, I did really enjoy this book.I loved how River's story unfolded, how we got glimpses into her trauma and how she decided to deal with it: by seeking revenge.I also liked how real she was, and how her feelings were explored throughout the whole book giving us an insight into mind.The guys were hot and intriguing, full of secrets that we still don't know. I loved how different this RH felt to others I've read, how their relationship is messy until the end, and I am looking forward to seeing what happens next after that ending!

Being the start of this series, I looking forward to rest already, whilst the guys kinda annoyed me a little at first I got over most of it quickly though they still had their moments .Spice is good , please check TW SA , A & kidnapping mentioned and throwbacks in nightmares. Plot so far is good, very strong fiesty FMC

So I thought this book had good spice, but everything that sat around it was just okay. It all felt kind of predictable and cliche - like, of course, that was the ending?I found all the characters interesting. There are four guys that fit the standard RH mould; the loveable flirt, the sweet but psycho, the alpha leader, and the silent damaged one - so nothing new here, but as I said, the spice was the best part!River, the fmc, was okay too - she was strong despite everything she’d been through but what I couldn't take was her being mean to the dog?! I guess there’s a journey to go on here, but for the life of me, I can't understand why an author would willingly write their main character being mean and dismissive towards an animal that seemed nothing but sweet. Also, why was she naked all the time? She took her clothes off to sit on a window sill, smoke a cigarette and paint her nails? Who does that? That’s some male gaze bs.Anyway, I picked this up because I was in the mood for something fast-burn and spicy, and I guess I got that, but I probably won’t pick up the rest of the series.

Book 1 was chaos alright, when you think the story made sense and got to the point we are left with that kind of cliffhanger we definitely wasn’t expecting.A Girl with attitude, revenge on her agenda and she ticks all the right boxes for 4 psycho guys who run a nightclub and money laundry behind the scene, when the girl finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time is it really meant to be.River is the FMC and she’s everything you want in a dark book.She’s just a broken woman with one thing left to do before she’s fulfilled her revenge once and for all.She’s not had it easy since she’s caught the attention of Gage and his best friends who run the nightclub and underground business.But she seems to have had a effect on them in ways I don’t even think they knew they needed or wanted.Each character is broken in one way or another and it’s like Rivers revenge brought her to where she is needed and they all definitely need each other in one or anotherWas suppose to be a simple plan of a win win situation and as most things they never usually go that way. So with a cliffhanger like that it’s opened more questions and wondering where it leave River and the guys after this Bomb.It’s got it’s own little quirkiness, a dog that you can’t help but laugh with some of the scenes he’s in and brings something to the story too.It’s also dark too with Rivers past and what some of the guys share with her can’t be good for anybody with triggers.

5 stars- Couldn’t put down. Absolutely loved it! Made it to the favourite list!4 stars- really enjoyable. Willing to stay up and read.3 stars- it was good, maybe a few things bother me about the book.2 star- I liked a few things hit felt there was something missing.1 star- not my cup of tea. Possible DNF.

Ok I LOVED this book so much! I waited until all 4 books were out to read it because I just KNEW I would wanna binge it.And god did I ever, River is SUCH a badas* and it’s amazing I love a FMC like her, she has a connection with every one of the guys in a different way even if there too blind to see it.My fave is Priest and I really loved Knox, im so drawn to priest and I’m not sure why but I can’t wait to move on to hook 2 to get to know more on the guys and river’s story.That cliffy??? DY!NG to know who it was

A lot of triggers for some! Read any warnings before! Very dark brutal romance. Enemy to kind of lovers, but not completely. Great cliff hanger ! Can’t wait to read the next one .

Do you know how you can become lost within a book and accidentally finish it within a few hours? This is one of those books. I could’ve sworn that I had only read a few chapters but in reality I was over 50% through the book. You become so engrossed within the story and the characters that it’s easy to get to lose track of time. It’s been a while since I’ve had a book do this and I loved it.The first half continually ramped up then it slowed down a little bit and picked up right until the end. I was trying to figure out how this book would lead into a second book because it kind of seemed like things were being tied up. Then there were multiple surprises and plays on emotions within the last few pages and you know book 2 is going to be a whole new adventure.We learn a decent amount about the female main character, River. I’m sure will delve a little bit more within the next book. Although the book was multiple points of view, we were only given glimpses of the men, enough to make you very curious. I’m not sure I can pick a favorite just yet but I think I know who I’m leaning towards. Maybe. I’m looking forward to learning more about them, their dynamic and their pasts.This is probably not the most original storyline but it is pure entertainment. The author is a great storyteller and I can’t wait to binge the next book.

First let me tell you that having such a strong and independent female as FMC it’s like a breath of fresh air!She’s so decided and so strong that even with a bunch of Adonis as her roommates she didn’t let her hormones lead her mind.The guys are kind of a mystery in some parts, but that just help build the tension!!And the cliff??? I have no ideia the true explanation for this!!

Damn, that is one hell of a book.So much violence, pain and hurt, while brimming with rough steaming hot smut!

NO SPOILERS - I really hate that in a review lol. Simple and sweet. This book is f****** hot and pulls on your emotions and you know it’s a great book when the author can garner emotions from you. I’m recently really loving darker books and this does not disappoint! I can’t wait for book 2. Read this in one day! I am a massive fan of Eva and her books do not disappoint ! I also loved her FMC, sometimes when authors can make them annoying when trying for a badass FMC but she wasn’t stupid and was also raw and human. Loved everything about the book hence the rating, just get it and find out ! Side note I hope we can see some m/m in the future Eve ;).
