I know these are flagpoles but I needed them to anchor a privacy screen around my hot tub and they worked fantastic. We get high winds in my area so we can't have a wall-attached flagpole without ripping siding loose. I was worried the in-ground type wouldn't be sturdy enough either, but it looks like it'll hold up to pretty much any of the strongest winds we get here.

It took me a while to put this up as I did a little bit at a time. Someone else can probably dig the hole and get it up in an afternoon. Once the hoe is dug and you have your gravel and pvc pipe in place you can pour concrete and cement that in. After that it is easy to put together. One note of caution is that the instructions say to put the rope tie/halyard onto the holes in pole 5, but the holes might actually be in pole 4. The poles are packaged together. I wound up putting one pole into the pvc pipe, then the one with the rope tie on top of that. It worked fine. It looks good and seems to be sturdy enough but I don't think it will survive very high winds. That's okay. You can take it down, plug up the pvc pipe with rags to keep it from filling with water, then put it back up again. It serves my purposes fine. The only problem I had was trying to get the flag up without it tangling. I will post a photo with the flag once I get that done. I wish it different clips, otherwise it is good for the cost.

I've wanted a flag pole for a long time and am so happy withbthis one. It is true to description size and plenty tall enough for my needs. It is made of quality material that is durable. It was easy to put up. The hardest part was digging the hole for the bottom. It is heavy enough to not sway when the wind blows the flags hard, but still light enough that I was able to take it down to add an eagle to the top and then put it back up. It looks nice even without the flags on it. I like that it came with an extra set of rings do I was able to hang both my flags. The American flag that came with it is a great quality material that will hold up well in the wind, rain, and sun. The stitching is strong and the colors are bright. If your looking for a flag pole you won't be disappointed with this quality pole and flag or the price.
