Black Holes: The Reith Lectures

I was interested into blackhole universe observable universe and galaxyes and this book cleard all of my doubts in just some pages.This is a good book for a begginer who's wanting to learn astrophysics

This book was amazing and informative with a lot of knowledge about the outer space. It took me about 2 hours to read and understand completely. One disappointing feature of this book is that it's very thin. And I always suggest to buy from the seller Cocoblu blue retail as it always provides us with authentic and original books

You can get to know a lot about blackhole. At the age of eleven I even made a theory to make energy and water bu quasars by reading these books. I wish every child could read this book.

It's a very good book,but I deducted 2 stars because it's size is approx equal to my hands(i.e. very small size book) and it's not worth of it's price,it should be of around ₹40 maximum,but it's price on amazon is above ₹100. It's better if you don't buy it,instead buy Theory of Everything or any other good book by Stephen Hawkings.

Veramente un ottimo librettino che spiega senza troppi giri di parole e con esempi/disegni molto simpatici il fenomeno dei buchi neri. Il libretto lo si legge molto velocemente (io l'ho letto in pausa pranzo) ed in maniera molto scorrevole. L'inglese utilizzato non è complicatissimo quindi anche se avete problemi con la lingua non dovreste avere necessariamente problemi con questa lettura. Per quello che costa e che offre, personalmente lo renderei addirittura una lettura obbligatoria per tutti :)

I am appalled! I got this book for my 9 year old who is interested in reading about vlack holes. I flip through it cause the book is cute and little, and come upon this page (page 18)! Sexist and inappropriate, why in holy hell would they put this in there?? Its a stupid little science book about a thing in outer space, it does not need this sort of bizarre, disrepectful nonsense. I am severely disappointed.

Interesting lectures. It seems to me to be humbling to give a review on lectures given by the great mind of Stephen Hawking. He steps to levels of insight that the rest of us barely can recognise the existence of such ideas. But saying that, here goes. Great lectures, provocative and maybe wrong. This is obviously the case, as all human understanding by all humans has the capacity to be wrong. I read these lectures with an open mind, and great admiration. They prompted lateral and not so lateral thinking. We are all limited by our human ability to understand things. Fantastic book. Highly recommended.

Book is tiny, and very short, for $20aud not worth the money. Should be clearly stated how small and short it is when buying this book

Great book. You can read it easily. It’s short and smaller than I expected but with great information. I loved it.
