Beautiful quality, hard to use
I am desperately looking for a carrier 1) that doesn't hurt me and 2) my baby (3 months) will agree to ride in. I have an ergo, he won't go into it. I tried a hip seat and it hurt my low back, he is too little for backpack. He is a really big baby and very alert so he wants to be carried about and it takes often two arms to tote him around. I saw a lady at costco with a ring sling. Hers was Wild Bird brand, but when I looked them up, major sticker shock wow. I found this highly rated linen sling on amazon. BEAUTIFUL fabric, weighty, sturdy, and the blue berry color was elegant, almost a greyish blue heather. I would even dress up an outfit! It felt good for all of about 1 minute on. The fabric was very difficult for a beginning like me to manipulate, even though I watched youtube videos and read about pitfalls to avoid when wearing ring slings. My neck and shoulders aren't strong from former whiplash injuries. My baby shouted and squirmed and didn't look comfortable in it. He just was unhappy and tensed his legs so he wouldn't sit in a deep seated M position unless he was asleep. Oh well. I have to return it. This is a good sling and very quality and a great price if you are a ring sling wearer and your baby is a happy passenger. I think I'm going to have to tough it out until he crawls.....

Very Lightweight and Simple to Use
I purchased this ring sling for the color and the price. The violet is really gorgeous and vibrant. I wanted to try a ring sling because it seemed easier than a woven wrap, and I was looking for something to throw on quickly around the house when I needed one hand and a little bit of extra support. I also use knit wraps, but sometimes I do not have time to work the wrap, but need a place to hold a fussy infant ASAP.My comfort rating is only 3/5, because my back just really cannot stand the one shoulder support for much longer now that my bub is 10+ lbs, even though I know this is supposed to be supportive up through 35 lbs. This is true for my wraps, too, and I found the only thing that is good for long term wear for me is a soft structured carrier once we crossed the 10 lb threshold. The other reason comfort was dropped a notch is because this linen is stiff and a bit scratchy. I do know the more expensive wraps tend to be made from softer, more expensive fabric, but overall the price point for this and the limited use it will see versus my SSC make this a limited issue for us. My daughter is not at all bothered by the fabric, so it's more from an observational standpoint on my part.

Great material
I like this carrier. It's made out of linen which is a very fresh and breathable material, definitely superior to other synthetic fabrics in every way. However, the fabric slides out of the ring over time over many months of use. It's beautiful, I wish it could work in all scenarios but unfortunately I need my carrier to stay put as I have large babies (my current 4 month old is almost 18 pounds). This would be a convenient carrier to keep around the house, but I don't use this outside.

Baby's Favorite Carrier We Own
I have a moby wrap, an Ergo baby carrier and this ring sling. Out of all three this is by far the best carrier we own. Its the easiest to store on the go, and it is light weight and breathable. It is easy to transition baby in and out of and makes for great transportation of baby on road trips and shopping trips. It has great quality fabric and looks very fashionable as well as the best function for mom and baby. I would buy this again in a heart beat. The problem with the moby wrap and the ergo are that they are much more bulky and take time and an additional person to put baby in and out of. I can use this wrap with out assistance from my husband.

Just good could be better
So I really wanted to love this product, I just like it. First off the fabric gets stuck in the ring it’s not as smooth when tightening, the fabric sheds ALOT I can’t wear it or have it touch my clothes without leaving tiny shards of fabric. Overall I love the color and the concept, but I’d invest elsewhere if quality is more your forte.

Excellent Ring Sling
Perfect for hot summers in the southern United States. My baby wants to be carried everywhere and we also have a stretchy wrap but this is better for us as I am nursing. The linen is very comfortable, we wash it in the washing machine and air dry. My baby sleeps soundly in it when she’s tired. Ring slings in general have a learning curve but this one ended up being easy to use with tutorials. I’m about 6 ft tall and weigh 160 ish pounds so you can see in the picture the tail ends just past where the picture does without wrapping the rings. We got this when my baby was 2.5 months old and she’s 5 months now. Still using it and plan to until she doesn’t want to be carried anymore. There are comments about the color, how it’s scratchy fabric, etc and all I have to say is I think the color is beautiful and the fabric did start out a little scratchy but my baby was fine until we broke it in.

Would, (and have) recommend!
This sling is wonderful! It does take a little practice to get used to putting baby in solo, watch a YouTube video on how to use it, it will really help.Lighter weight so baby doesn’t get as hot. The fabric is a nice linen, will last a very long time. This is by far my favorite baby carrier.Personally my shoulder does get a little tired after a few hours walking around but all I do is lift baby with one hand for a bit and give my other arm some rest.I started using this when baby was 7 weeks old but I would be comfortable using right away with my next baby. I will recommend this sling to all my mommy friends!

Smelly and rough
Was hoping to carry my grandson close to my heart. The carrier arrived with a strange smell even after we washed it. After a second was the camphor smell subsided but the fabric did not soften. My grandson did not enjoy being carried around this way. Hoping as he gets older we can switch his position and he’ll be comfortable.
