Not like the old fashion fans we are used to ....
Oh no, a review by that Vine Reviewer who can never say anything in short-order. She loves to hear herself talk? Here's my short review .....We have 3 residential properties and a total of 17 ceiling fans - all the fans are identical - being the major-brand ceiling-fan sold at the major home supply retail chain - we all know who they are. Some of our ceiling fans date back to 2011 - run 24/7, 365 days per year, year after year. Never has there ever been a hint of a failure or malfunction of any of the 17 fans. Some are mounted on flat ceilings while others are mounted on slanted ceilings. All have the old-fashioned two little chains hanging down, one for light, the other for fan speed. Take a traditional little light bulb - or so I think, but I don’t recall any of the bulbs that came with any of our 17 fans has ever burned out.So what can we say? Any ceiling fan that attempts to gain our respect, interest or support has got to be the same ceiling fan God and his Angels use in heaven in order to get us to change brands. Our experience with installing ceiling fans has traditionally been the easy 2-3 step, no assembly, 1 hand tied behind your back process involved with our common-brand. Nothing fancy, no remotes, uses traditional light bulbs, reverse switch is easy to flick come summer, winter etc. We are basically simple folk and simple old fashioned Casablanca-needs - Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Peter Lorie is where we are at. Old habits – hard to break.Furthermore, in our living room, we have a box that holds all the remotes - AC, Heater, TV, DVD, Roku, Surround Sound, Router re-set, outside lights - the list goes on. Some of the remotes in the box, we cannot remember what they are suppose to control. Then we go into the bedroom, where we have 3 more remotes in another box. What we are saying here? The last thing we need in our lives is another remote controlled device. Least we need a remote that uses something other than AA or AAA. I know those pesky little 12V’s – very expensive. HELP!!!!Additionally, being self-proclaimed ceiling fan experts that we are, why would we want a ceiling fan controlled by a remote? How often do you change ceiling fan settings? You turn them on, find the best speed by way of chain pulling and forget about them until the time of the year comes around and it’s time to flick the reverse switch or do the annual blade dusting-off.Many other reviewers have outlined the obvious negatives regarding this Honeywell - odd light bulb size, odder remote battery size, too many screws to assemble parts, weird-looking remote, too many hang-the-fan steps. But if you are a first-time, single-fan user and not used to the simple, maintenance-free ceiling fan life, then this fan is for you.The flashy stylish looks are a bit richer than our big-box retail brand, but ceiling fans generally do not have to look rich, unless you live in a palace.Since we consider ourselves as being slightly on the poor-side, $150 is more than twice as expensive as our traditional big-box home supply brand (on sale) - which we have bought 17 of them. Albeit Honeywell has a historic reputation as does Hunter – not that many of your house guests are going to be looking upward in judgment of your home furnishings.

Whisper quiet, easy to install.
Instructions must be read carefully. Must be fully connected I.e., light fixture attached, before testing. Remote works well

Great fan
It was very easy to install. The fan moves a lot of air on high and the controller. That's easily understandable.

48” ceiling fan
Pro: looks nice, quiet, remote controlled. Cons: two lights very insufficient; fan size insufficient for 12x12 room. Will not buy again.

Modern with a touch of classic
I love this new ceiling fan. We had a contractor install it for us because of the unfamiliarity. The included instructions look very clear, but opted for something that can come falling down causing injury best left to a professional. They had no issues replacing our old dated fan with this elegant beauty of a fan. It moves air very well and it comes with 3-speed remote control with mounting base. I wished that they should have matched the color and trim of the fan. The off-white color is bland, but I suppose it is meant to be a universal look. It is very responsive and easy to read. The LED dome light on the fan provides good light when we need that extra glow during meals.

looks beautiful
This is a stylish decently made ceiling fan by honeywell. Honeywell is known for good designs and quality, and this is a good example. It is well made, I like the look including the shape of the blades. The blades are reversible giving you some choice as to finish. I like the nickel finish on the light. Assembly clocks in at about 40 minutes, with existing wiring and box. The remote works well. The light is bright enough and the blade size adequate for most medium size rooms.
