Being in AZ we can take average of the pool much longer than we ever could in living MA. Having those people (family) refusing to move, they pay visit. These freeloaders come down and expect the pool to be on and heated, 3 square meals, beverages and snacks 24 x 7. They are courtesy enough to tell me when provisions are running low. A few days before their arrival the pool heater wouldn’t power on. In a mad scramble a larger company gave us a referral. This gentleman came out and made the repairs. He recommended this product. These heaters complimented the pool heater nicely. With air temperature ranging from 48 to 80, it usually takes 6 days for the pool to go from the 60’s to the low 80’s. The pool is 12x24 roughly 5000 gallons. In under 3 days, 6 floaties the pool went from 64 to 87 degrees. The heater usage was about 13 hours once the pool reached 85° as opposed to 22-24 hours a day without the floaties. Using a shop vac these inflated in under 5 seconds. Great product highly recommended.

Do not purchase this product, I spent over $300 investing in these. They were a severe disappointment, as they did not help maintain the temperature of the pool and actually stopped the pool from being able to clean itself via the skimmer. The dirt and debris would get caught under the floats themselves. Very disappointed in this purchase. I gave it one star because I couldn’t give it zero.

Major complaint - get leaks all the time. For this price they should be indestructible. Minor complaint - this new design is much easier to dump rain water, but how about a design that doesn’t hold rain water?

I read some of the negative reviews, and I held off buying these last season. After exploring some other ideas, I decided it was worth the chance. I am glad that I bought them. My 14 foot diameter, 4 foot deep above ground pool is staying consistently 5-8 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than previous years in the same weather. The criticisms I read in other reviews were that these did not hold air well, did not hold up to wear, and that they just blew right out of the pool. I have had none of these problems. First, I do not inflate them to the point of max pressure. Fill them up about halfway. Second, I am careful about what surfaces they come into contact with. Third, they stay put in the pool if you fill the top with an inch or two of water. Anyway, I am very happy with them so far!

They were as big as I expected but it did nothing for the pool I had really hoped it would heat it in the winter but maybe it was too cold or maybe you need enough of them to cover the entire surface of the pool. Also wind speed them out of the pool and ruined them

They definitely add a few degrees to the pool water temp but they need to be reinflated often.

These are junk. If I could give a "0" I would. The quality control is poor -- over a third of them leak air out of the inflatable ring that is supposed to provide structure and flotation. If you have any wind, they blow off the pool surface and fold over, leaving the pool uncovered, even when filled with water as recommended in the instructions. After more than a week, they did not raise the temperature of my pool at all, despite strong sun and warm temperatures.

I ordered a used set of these and although they were visibly used and had dirt and debris from another customer, they actually sent me like 5 or 6 of them instead of 3, so it was nice since it helped cover some of the gaps I had in my pool. Overall these are a good quality and lower cost alternatives to solar sun rings. They definitely work to keep heat in overnight so you end up using your heater less. I would recommend to anyone with a pool when paired with a pool heater.

Bought 2 packages (6 floats) end of last season. Put them in when we opened the pool this spring. Not sure how much they work to hear pool because they just will not stay in the pool. Even a modest wind flips them out. Wanted to like them, but sadly they will likely go in the trash.

Easy to inflate and designed well. I would order 6 more but it takes too long to deliver and my pool will be closed by then. If they keep working well I’ll get more next season!
