Tear Soup: A Workbook for Grieving Kids

It, of course, goes really well with a book. It gives children the opportunity to work through their grief with terms they’ve learned from the book. (EX: circling the size pot they need for their grief). It’s a good tool/journal for those grieving.

My dad passed when I was 13 by suicide. My mom got us kids this book and for many years she would read it to me. I remember always zoning out because I was angry. Well this year with God, therapy and forgiveness to my dad I finally opened the book and read it. My daughter passed away and this book healed so many parts of my heart. I finally understand why my mama read it to us for many years. I even gift it to others when they lose someone as well. It really is a special book!

I bought this to help my kids through the deep grief of our baby dying. I read through it and thought it will be helpful for them to process their grief. I ended up buying 2 more to give to my sisters to help their kids process losing their cousin. I recommended this to go along with the tear soup book.
