Received today was promised, packed perfect for shipment, no quarms at all, have to let the unit sit for 24 hours before I can use it.

Works great to keep my full basement dry. Set it to a humidity level and it keeps it there with auto shut off to save power. Was a great investment!

I have been dealing with Vellgoo for a couple of months, on this unit. I see the price has dropped significantly since I purchased it AND that the unit is no longer available. I've had to buy a seperate device for measuring humidity in the space as I go back and forth with Vellgoo on the unit not functioning correctly. I would not recommend this unit to anyone.

A little over 1 year and the compressor quit working?? Trying to figure out about Warranty??/ This model no longer available??? UPDATE::: After many Emails to Velgoo and Amazon Customer service I did all the "Troubleshooting" They asked for Vellgoo decided to send me a replacement unit supposedly New in Box and I do not need to return Defective unit. On the "Original" box it says "2 year Warranty" yet Vellgoo claims only 1 Year?? Would Recommend to Register your product right away on the VELLGOO website. I appreciate a Company who stands behind their product..Thanks also to Amazon Customer Service for helping

This is a large unit that works in a quiet mode all the way up to a faster/louder mode. So far, I have not used the pump or the gravity host. After the second or third bucket empty... I apparently hit the wrong button and did not notice. So when the next bucket filled, it started dumping all the water on to the basement floor. I had a gallon or two on the floor. I understand that I accidently set the hose or maybe PUMP button. BUT, ANY REASONABLE PERSON WOULD EXPECT THE UNIT NEVER TO DUMP WATER ON THE FLOOR REGARDLESS OF THE SETTING. The unit should be able to identify that no HOSE is attached and thus stop the machine instead of dumping water to the floor. The buttons are not well labeled, just with archaic icons. So easy to get confused. After a week I figured them all out. But if I ever have someone staying in my home, or if my wife ever touches it, I FULLY EXPECT MORE WATER ON THE FLOOR AGAIN. To be safe, I put a flood sensor on the floor next to the unit. Now at least an alarm will ring instead of me slipping on the floor again. What is wrong with companies these days, they don't consider the most important thing to customers. That is, NEVER ALLOW WATER ON THE FLOOR! It is especially maddening because this unit cost 2-3 times as much as other units, so I assumed I would be getting the best possible features. If I didn't get it online, I would return it and say bye-bye to this company.
